I don't know how to describe it to anyone. A piece of my heart broke the day I lost him. I can't eat, sleep, or function the same. This is truly the deepest loss I've ever experienced. I didn't just lose a dog. I lost a partner in my life and his unconditional love. 😭 I started this page as an outlet to express my feelings about our life through his voice. It's hard to post here without him. 💔

Mama habs been feeling pretty sad without me. She decided our home still needed a furr baby to love on. While she couldn't fink of getting a doggy yet, sissy asked for a kitty. So they went on an adventure and found my brother, Levi!! Everyone say hello to him 🥰

Theo's very last smile ❤️

To spend his last day we first got Theo his favorite treat, a spring roll! His absolute favorite are the spring rolls from Panda Express. After that we cuddled with Theo all morning. Together with Arwyn we made paw casts and prints. We also managed to get him to let us paint his nose for some nose prints!! 🤣

We then did his least favorite thing, the bowl of death!! 💀 We got him all scrubbed up and clean. I did record this and may post clips someday ❤️

After his bath we took him to McDonalds and got him an ice cream cone and TWO hamburgers. The little man was in heaven before we said our goodbyes to the children and headed to the clinic. It was just Theonidas and I in his final moments. I will forever cherish the 7.5 years I had with my sweet precious boy. He was the absolute best dog, best friend, and big brother. 🥰

Hello paw buddies,

I wanted to let you all know that Theonidas gained his angel wings today. To say I am devastated is an understatement. Theonidas has been my most loving best friend for the last 7.5 years. He's been with me for a quarter of my life.

Theonidas saw me through active addiction, recovery, pregnancy, horrendous hospital stays, marriage, state wide moves, divorce, and so much more. He's been my rock throughout all these years and I'm not quite sure what my future holds without him.

Theo will be cremated and returned home with me. Thank you, every last one of you. Without you this page, Theonidas the Pitbull, wouldn't have flourished. With your help we've donated supplies to animal shelters and had food donated in our name. We've had protestors fighting animal cruelty using Theo's name on their signs. At one point we had 3000 followers on our page from around the world! 🌍

You have all been a beautiful part of our life for the last 5 years. I will miss you all so much and cherish the friendships that we have created.

Hello all ~

I wanted to let you all know that Theo has been drastically declining. His time is growing near and I'm soaking up every moment with him I can. I unfortunately don't have the money to cremate him at the moment so he is still here until I can do so or he passes naturally.

I will update more once I have more time to process and think. ❤️

Hello friends ~

I wanted to give you all an update. Theonidas has developed 5 tumors over the last 4 months. At this time we believe he has MCT and we will not be proceeding with surgery. Theo is starting to show signs of discomfort and is sleeping a lot. He does seem to have the appetite of a horse still so that's a good sign.

Right now we are doing our best to keep him comfortable and happy for as long as we are blessed with him. When the time comes we will help him cross over the bridge but right now we are not there yet. ❤️

For those asking ~

Theo is doing great! He's not in pain due to the tumor. We don't know if it's cancer and we wouldn't unless we decided to biopsy it. Our goal is to remove it completely and I'm not too worried about biopsying it. Even if it turned out to be cancer we wouldn't do chemo. I'd rather him live out his days fat and happy. He's my house hippo and we have his back through this. 💖

Health update ~

Mama took me to da vet today. Very good appointment aside from the fact it was discussed that I have a tumor. We do not know what kind, how deep, etc. It started as a skin tag and has significantly grown. Mama and pops need to save $$ so I can get it ✂️ out/off. Da vet needs $675.79-$684.89 to remove it but mama only has $200.

If anyone would like to contribute to the savings I will post the info down below! Please please please do not feel obligated to help. We will get this tackled even if it takes a couple months to save for. 😊

Marlowe is gonna make it!! 🥰

Today we saw our worst nightmare. A frozen puppy to the ground with no life left.

We named him Marlowe.

We brought Marlowe to the nearby vet to get him fluids (thank you Sioux Nation Ag-Chamberlain / Mid River Veterinary Clinic!). He didn’t register a temperature and odds were slim. He was limp and often could barely tell if he was breathing.

We brought him to the ER and now we cross our fingers.

We are trying our hardest for you buddy 💙
