Just restocked the shop with some kickers, hearts, mice and even some mystery kickers for the decision paralysis-plagued like myself. I have a bunch of new designs I still need to get listed, but I have a water heater to replace TODAY, so I got listed what I could.

If you have an open order, it’s also going out today and I appreciate your patience so much. It’s been a miserable month and your orders keep me sane and help me maintain a routine. 🙏🏼 I appreciate you all more than you can ever know.

Just updated the shop with these new prints, plus restocked some old favorites!

I’ve missed making toys for y’all. 🥺 moving forward, all non-holiday toys will be made to order, with a 1 week turnaround time. Holiday collections will continue to be ready-to-ship drops at specific times with plenty of notice. That seems to be the best system for everyone!

If there’s a print you’re missing please let me know. I need to do a fabric order soon and I wanna make sure I have peoples’ favorites. 😺

It’s been a rough February (after a January that lasted a whole year somehow) but even two nails in my tires today couldn’t stop this sale! These two Valentine’s Day designs go live at 6:30PST tonight. Everything is fully assembled and will ship tomorrow morning! I also have several other non-holiday prints coming up later this month as well. Trying to get back into it. I miss making toys for y’all. 🥺

We didn’t coordinate well enough for me to have them on hand to list with mine, but my mom also has lots of adorable felt toys ready to ship as well! Love letters, cute frogs, and lots of other stuff! Don’t miss them. 💘

Bruce + Fox is going to be closed for a while. The past four years while my partner was in law school and I was the sole provider for our household really took a toll on how much I enjoyed doing this. It’s hard to find joy in survival mode. Compound that with shipping frustrations, rude customers, and struggling to keep up with fostering and family life while filling orders in a timely manner, and it was a recipe for eventual burnout.

Thankfully, my partner is now done with law school, passed the bar on their first try (!!!) and is now working a fantastic, very important job. My income is no longer needed and I can now take a break. I feel like a huge weight fell off of me.

I may reopen at some point later. It might be this year, it might be next. I’m sure I’ll miss making cat toys at some point. I’ll post here about it if I do.

My deepest gratitude to every customer, every convention attendee who stopped by our booth, and everyone who has shared my posts and helped more eyes see my products. When I opened Bruce + Fox 7 years ago I never could have dreamed how it was going to take off. And it wouldn’t have without any of you. Thank you so so much. 🤍

Hi folks! Got a sudden vet bill to pay 😢 our Shyla girl broke her tail somehow! We aren’t sure how, since I’m literally always home with her and I haven’t seen anything happen. No door slams or yelps or anything! We are hoping that it won’t need surgery but even the X-ray to get it checked is a couple hundred bucks, which wouldn’t normally be a big deal… but this has actually been the most expensive October ever. Our microwave broke, our garage door violently broke and our car had a flat tire all within two days, so this is just one more expense on top of all that!

Pack an order with me! First we always lint roll. No matter how far away I keep them, how sealed their storage bins are… the toys always acquire a few cat hairs during the making process. So lint rolling happens, every single time. 😸 All open orders got dropped off yesterday and this morning! (Except for Chargeback Karen’s, who just *couldn’t* wait for her package I guess. Your toys did not get mailed and I paid your nefarious chargeback fee.) Keep an eye on your mailboxes, everyone else! 😅 And we still have plenty of kickers and mice and couple felt toys left as well if anyone else still needs to snag a few things!
