The text read;
“6 week appt went amazing. 🥹 They are going to their new homes soon🫶🏼 I’m so sad! “

Yesterday’s post brought bad news, today’s post brings good.
This is P**f.
A follower on this page, reached out to me in private about P**f. She’s going through a hard time and I deeply sympathize for her. Between her other dogs, and personal life, she mentioned she cannot give P**f the attention he requires (and yes he does require a lot). She asked me if I would be interested in helping her find him a good home. So I began searching. Over the days, P**f and I got close, and then closer, and now…we’re two peas in a pod. This boy won’t even let me use the bathroom in private now. He does not know what “giving someone space” means. 😂

So here we are… I’m just as attached to him, as he is to me. I’ll do my best to be a good home. And if P**f’s previous owner sees this, thank you for trusting in me.

I guess you can never have too many? Or am I the only one who thinks like that????

It’s a dog’s world, I’m just living in it.

I’ve been telling myself I shouldn’t make a post like this, as I try to keep it all about happy puppies and the joys they bring to life. However, I realized that it’s not always easy being a breeder, it can be really challenging.
On Mother’s Day, Snow and Leo gave birth to a beautiful puppy girl and boy. The boy was bigger, and stronger, however he sadly passed away on his second night. I was shattered. Why why why did this have to happen? But it did happen. I rooted for the little girl and I watched her closely, making sure every single day she was given love. My heart broke knowing that she wouldn’t have a litter mate to grow up and play with, so I gave her all the love and cuddles she could get. She grew up, strong, became fluffy and trusted me to love her and hold her.
I went on a small two day trip, and had a trusted friend watch my dogs while I was gone, and they did a great job at that.
On the morning of Father’s Day, I got the update from my friend that all the doggies were good, happy as can be, and the pup was very playful. I was excited to get home and see all my pups.
But then I came home, to an awful, Terrible surprise.
My sweet little girl, was no longer with us. Why did this happen, again! Why why why? But it did. And I couldn’t change it.
I was broken, I still am. But I try to remind myself that the puppy’s life may have been short, but it was a life full of love.

As the day winded down, I buried the sweet girl next to her brother, but then I received a text I hadn’t expected to receive.

Leo’s daughter, June Bug that is owned by my friend, had some babies that day, the very same day.

God has a funny way of showing you the circle of life. For that, I am asking everyone pray hard these puppies stay strong and healthy, but I have faith they will be.

My friend Jason, who adopted these two
Pretty girls, was passing through the town that I work in. We got in a quick visit! Precious little girls.

This is why I do what I do. I love the community that has come together because of these dogs. I love seeing how my pups have changed lives. I have made many friends.
I pride myself in loving all my dogs, not as money makers, but as my pets. I love my dogs unconditionally and I know all of you, will love them that way too.

Pretty sad little life update on Mr. Clyde.
To make things short & sweet, Clyde has Lyme Disease from a tick-borne illness.

He was continuously throwing us for a loop with his symptoms, but when he got his blood tested we now know why.

Between weight loss, lack of appetite, fatigue, joint pain, uveitis of the eyes, bacterial infection, pain & discomfort, anemia, & high white blood cell count… all this because of a tick. A tick!!!!

We have a LONG road ahead of us.
Praying the medicine works, and Clyde is capable of having a long healthy happy life.

Got to hang out with these three kiddos over the weekend.
Their owner’s rely on me to watch their pups when they travel.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing pups from past litters!
Love watching them grow.
