Our Purpose

I had no idea that there are 22 suicides A DAY of veterans and active military. That is one death every 65 minutes or 8,030 per year. How can this be? What can we do to help? This question wouldn't go away.

Then Baron and I learned about the benefits of service dogs to help those struggling with PTSD. 82% of veterans that receive a service dog report that their lives are markedly better. Training service dogs is expensive and time consuming. Costs can run to $25,000. That’s why we are here- to raise funds to provide a dog for a veteran struggling with PTSD that couldn’t otherwise afford one.
