Interactive dog toys for the win… Daliah loves these and they have so many benefits! This is her first night and third time completing the training puzzle in only 40 seconds 😍
9 dogs… one dad… one piece of ham at a time 🤣
If you live in a multi dog home… can your dogs behave like this?
If not send me a message and I’ll teach you how! 🐶🥰
FOLKS....I am doing a serious dog trainer happy dance! 💃
This is ONE session, ONE day with a consistent and dedicated dog mom!
Bailey was having trouble with being too hyper focused on food, she’s snatching off counters and from her people and eating so fast she requires a slow feeder, nothing comes between her and food. Until today!
Bailey learned leash pressure, down (with NO lure), break and to wait for the release cue before she gets to eat ANYTHING. Tell me you’re not impressed!
I cannot wait to see where these two go in a matter of five weeks!
The number one determining factor of success with your dog is an appropriate amount of exercise!
Do your research on the breed you’re looking to add to your home and decide if you’re up for that amount of exercise. This will change the whole training game I promise!
Some real life long distance recalls with a small handler and working on tightening up those listening skills. She’s dying to be a dog trainer and she’s working so hard!

Let’s talk about appropriate play!
Who thinks this looks dangerous or concerning?!
Today my folks had their monthly nail trim and everybody is at a different level...
In the first video you see Humphrey we are working solely on desensitizing him to the dremel since his nails are already short.
In the second video you see Rugar learning to yield his body to my slight pressure while I do some dremel work on him.
In the third video you see Sophie who is an expert at nail care and thinks she’s at the spa 💅
Dog training is not cookie cutter, if your dog is willing to sit nicely like Daliah in the last video she may not need to yield her body like Rugar it’s all what works for you both!

Daliah is showing us a perfect example of a dog that is learning to think for herself.
Before my extensive research, training and certification studying I lured my dogs a lot of the time because if they were doing what I wanted who cares right?
Wrong! Daliah never learned to think about what I was saying making her commands unpredictable. She also never learned to think and offer behaviors to get it right.
This is a huge mistake in dog training that I see all the time.
This was Daliahs first time being asked without the lure and she’s now offering the behavior within ten seconds.
To clarify, Daliah was taught what this word means using leash pressure and was very consistent leading me to ask her off leash for this behavior. She thinks she should be paid before she offers up the behavior I’m asking for but she’s learning quite quickly it’s more fun to do the command and receive room service!
