Meow Meow...welcome to my page. I regularly hung out in a carport, I didn't really have a place to call home. After a few months a human decided to start feeding me twice a day. I was untidy, always had scabs from war wounds and looked like I needed vet assistance. I bonded with this human almost immediately. I looked forward to feeding times and would show my appreciation by giving a little meow
and proving I wasn't just some feral stray by allowing this human to pat me and shower me with love & affection. I was known as the Carport Cat...and the human named me C.C. On the morning of the 5th day (Saturday 25th Feb 2017) I was taken to the RSPCA where I was given the vet work I was in desperate need of. Turns out I wasn't microchipped, and the human advised the RSPCA that she'd love to adopt me if/when I became available for adoption. My blood work was done and I tested positive to FIV. Prior to being desexed, the RSPCA called the human (Wed 1st March 2017) and wanted to check if she was still keen on adopting me. Apparently cats that test positive to FIV are less likely to be adopted. She was stoked that I was going to be up for adoption, especially so soon and advised them she'd be in to pick me up as soon as I was ready to go home, she wasn't even phased that I had FIV. I must have won her over with my laid back, beautiful nature. I was desexed, microchipped, had teeth removed, my cheeks were shaved so my wounds could be cleaned up and assessed properly. I was also given vaccinations, wormed & flea treated. Turns out my breed is himalayn x domestic short hair, my colour is referred to as 'lilac point' and I have been aged at 6. On Thursday 2nd March 2017, I was officially adopted by this human...who is now known as 'my human'. From the very beginning my story was shared on facebook in various groups, pages & profiles and I became quite popular with many humans. So to thank everyone for their heartfelt comments, support, well wishes and interest in my story, I had my human set up this page so other humans can follow my progress and see what's happening in my new life. On Saturday 4th March I was given the full name of C.C Trooper (apparently I'm a little trooper) but you can call me C.C for short. Enjoy your visit xx
