We’re Emma and Tom, and we run Oh Doggo, in the seaside town of Barry, South Wales. We love adventuring with our pup pals and enjoy roaming the many beaches on our doorstep with our canine guests. We love welcoming dogs into our home for pupcations! We also offer bespoke walkies and day care for pooches in need of a shorter adventure within our local area. We’re DBS checked, fully licensed and ins

TWO WHOLE YEARS OF MAGS! 🐶
I can’t believe 2 years ago today we awkwardly shuffled this silly girl into our car and took her home! 😂 honestly, I can’t really remember what it was like to not have Maggie in our lives 🥹
Thank you Mags for being you, and thank you to for letting her into our lives. If you can adopt a dog, do! Its such a nice thing to do, and if you can’t, please consider donating to Cardiff Dogs Home, The Rescue Hotel they do such amazing work, and really care about getting the best outcomes for all the dogs that come into their care. 🧡🐾

It’s almost Chrisssstmaaaas! 🎄
I’m very aware we have been all over the place with our socials this time round… is it me, or does Christmas feel like it gets more and more hectic each year?!
Anyway, while it’s very nearly time to wrap things up for a lovely little Christmas break (and force Maggie to pose infront of the Christmas tree! 😂📸) I just wanted to say ‘HI!👋’ and let you know we’re still here, and in between all the Christmas chaos, going on lots of lovely wintery walks with the pups 🧡🐾

Lovely Nessa 🧡
This girl has come leaps and bounds (literally!) since we started walking her! A teenie tiny pup that we started taking out on solo walks so she could get used to the ropes, is now a fully fledged group walker!🐶🐩
Nessa started out on solo walks, and occasionally got out and about with our dog Maggie so she could learn, play and get used to manners with older dogs. When she was ready she joined a small group walk, and progressively, she’s joined the gang! 🥹
When it comes to walkies, one size doesn’t always fit all dogs, and we’ll always try our best to find a solution to meet a dogs needs, for Nessa, that meant a gradual introduction to group walking, and it’s so lovely to see her doing so well! Autumn 🍂🧡
It’s been at least 2 weeks since I’ve complained about the rain, I’m LOVING the dry run we’re having! But I’m ready to wrap up in my duvet coat now, and feel a little bit more festive, so c’mon crisp sunny days! We’re ready for you! 🍁🐶❄️

Phew! It’s been a minute! Hope everyone’s been enjoying all the lovely autumn things! 🍁 Don’t come for me, but I am absolutely ready for things to get a bit colder now- give me sunny crisp mornings! ☀️🍂
Maggie has been loving the days getting cooler - it means she can get out on walks with her mates all day long! We rescued Maggie in January 2023 (how has it been almost 2 years?! 😱) and ever since she’s made it her mission to get out and play! 🥰she’s not as sulky about the rain as other greyhounds 😂 and is very much an all weather, all terrains kinda gal…just don’t ask her to go swimming! 🤪 she’s a very social lady, despite being quite shy when we got her, so if your pup’s out on a walk with us, chances are Maggie will be there, and making friends! 👯‍♀️
One of these days, I’ll get round to writing a blog about the ups and downs of rescuing a dog, but for now here’s some nice pictures of Maggie being her very silly self! 🥰🐾

I realised the other day that these little guys I hardly ever mention, but they’re always ticking along in the background! We made our patches back in lockdown- The wonderful created some amazing illustrations for us when we set Oh Doggo up back in 2019, and while we were all knocking about at home, I decided to get busy making something with them. 🐶
After a lot of sampling we made our first batch of patches and pins - a pin inspired by the man, the myth, the legend and a patch inspired by the very handsome 🐩 They did far better then I was expecting, and were very fun to make, so at the end of 2021 we made a full run of patches and pins of different breeds of dogs that have been on sale in our little Etsy shop ever since! 😊

Even though it was a very wet and gloomy Monday, today was a very special day… it’s Jemima’s 10th birthday! 🥳🥹
It’s the 4th birthday we’ve got to celebrate with Jemima, and definitely the wettest! 🥲☔️ she was treated to a lovely soggy walk with her pals, what more could you want?! 🤪

Solo walks are for dogs who want their own space and time without the distractions of a group walk. Your dog might be reactive and not get on in a group of dogs, or just prefer a slow 1 to 1 walk like our pal Bruno! 🐶

Look at this lushpup! Lovely Roma has some big adventures coming up, she’s moving! And while we’re very excited for her, and her people, we’ll definitely miss her very very much. 🥲
Come rain or shine, wind or snow Roma bloody loves a walk and a game of catch. 🎾 the dogs will certainly miss her enthusiasm, who’s going to get them playing chase in the pouring rain now?! 🤪

It’s almost the end of the first week back to school! 🤓 and a very special week of Gavin and Stacey filming made me realise that it won’t be long till we’ll be back on Barry Island for autumn dog walks… LUSH!🐶
Even though we’re looking forward to getting back to the beach, we’ve had a great summer taking advantage of the quieter walking routes in the vale, and the pups have loved the change of pace too! Happy September everyone! 🍂 I LOVE this time of year, so I’m very excited it’s finally here! It’s a chance for us to catch up and regroup for the year ahead, so I’m definitely feeling those back to school vibes today!🍎

Porthkerry is one of our favourite places to take our lovely lot for walks in the summer months. We certainly appreciated a cooler morning today! 🐶
There are plenty of spacious fields away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds for a bunch of woofers to have a good run around, as well as lots of woodland to work their noses and keep them shaded on hotter days 🌲
