September is not far away and that means our group classes and doggie day school will be starting up again!

Vaccination requirements for Basic 1 and Doggie Day School:
💙 Rabies, DHPP (distemper) & Bordetella (canine cough)

Puppy Kindergarten requirements:
💜 For puppies 8-16 weeks of age
💜 Puppies must be up to date on their current vaccinations series per their veterinarian

Group classes run for 5 weeks for approximately 1 hr.
Cost of the 5 week course $198

Doggie Day School is best for owners who have limited time to train their dogs due to busy schedules but still want to set their dog up for success. At the end of the 4 week program, owners are taught how to maintain their dogs obedience. Day School program runs Tuesdays & Thursdays for 4 consecutive weeks with a drop off between 6:30am-8:30am and pick up from 4pm-6pm

Our June daycare calendar is out now and boy do we have a big surprise on it.....
Enrichment daycare is going to be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting June 11th!!! 💓

💙What is enrichment daycare?
Enrichment daycare is all about fulfilling a dogs individual needs based on their breed, energy level and personality type. The combination of physical and mental stimulation, along with ample rest periods in between, has been shown to be more beneficial for a dog's overall well-being. Throughout the day, dogs may engage in various activities such as small group play, solo play, pack walks, agility, treadmill work, basic obedience/trick training, puzzles, kongs, ball pit and many other activities to fit their individual needs.

💜Which dogs would do best in enrichment daycare?
Dogs who may not have thrived in traditional daycare due to energy level, lack of social skills, a preference for small group play/solo play or who may need to build some confidence. It is also great for those dogs who have gone through the doggie day school program and would like help with "maintenance" training on the skills they have already learned. Even dogs who do well in traditional daycare can benefit from enrichment-based daycare.

We’re always wanting to learn more in our industry improving on the services that we offer to continue to better the lives of our four legged friends. Group classes are starting up again soon! Would you like to be hands on in training your dog? Then our group classes are what you're looking for!

Our trainer follows the LIMA training philosophy (least intrusive, minimally aversive). This means each dog is trained with the most positive, least forceful methods to accomplish the task. All efforts are taken to avoid the use of pain or discomfort in order to keep training sessions fun and positive for the dogs.

Puppy Kindergarten Class is for puppies who are approximately 8-16 weeks of age (some exceptions may apply). Puppies and their parents will learn the foundational skills to set up for a lifetime of success. This will include socialization, crate training, potty training, appropriate boundaries, intro to basic obedience. Classes are approximately 1 hour long for 5 weeks and cost $198 for the entire course.
*Required vaccinations: Puppies must be up to date on their current vaccinations series per their veterinarian

Basic Obedience 1 Class is for dogs who are approximately 17 weeks of age or older at the start of classes. Dogs and their parents will learn basic commands such as: sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, waiting at doorways, and leave it. To advance to Basic Obedience 2, interested participants will be evaluated at the completion of this course. Classes are approximately 1 hour long for 5 weeks and cost $198 for the entire couse.
*Required vaccinations: Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella (canine cough)

Interested in a more hands off approach? Then our Doggie Day School Program may be just what your'e looking for. This is a 4 week program, consisting of 2 days per week. Owners will drop their dogs off in the morning, our trainer and/or assistants will work with each dog multiple times throughout the day, and then the dogs get picked up in the evening. In between training sessions, dogs will participate in enrichment activities and/or group play. At the completion of the course, owners will receive a 1 hour private lesson, in our facility, demonstrating their dogs' new skills and teaching how to maintain them over time.

Ross & Annie received an amazing opportunity to go to a weeklong dog training workshop with a highly recognized trainer in the industry. We are so excited for both of them to attend this workshop and gain even more knowledge to share with our training clients and their dogs.

April 28th is National Pet Parents Day and to celebrate we are having a giveaway! Existing daycare clients or new daycare clients can win 3 FREE days of daycare for their dog. Contest starts Wednesday April 24th and ends Friday April 26th. To enter, follow our page and share this post with your friends. All the pups played hard and were ready for a long nap during nap time in boarding. We always love to see how calm and quiet our boarding can get. It is a great feeling for our team seeing and knowing how comfortable our guests are.

BTS- Check out little Gunther in the ball pit! He is one of our dogs who attends our doggie day school program and LOVES some ball pit mental enrichmemt in between training sessions 🐶 This specific enrichment is great for him because it caters directly towards Gunther’s species needs of hunting and borrowing. Remember our daycare Valentine's treat exchange takes place on Wednesday 2/14. We have partnered with Baileybones Canine Bakery where you can purchase individually wrapped treats which will be delivered right to us for the treat exchange. Orders with Baileybones must be placed by Friday 2/9. Alternatively you may also purchase other prepacked treats for the exchange. Those who participate will get to go home with a bunch of treats!

Pawz on Location is back! Exclusive to clients who have been through training already with us and are looking to test those obedience skills out around real life distractions.
