As an animal lover and enthusiast from a very young age, it was only natural for me to lead a career in Animal Care. When MCAST launched the animal care courses back in 2006, I was immediately on board. After achieving my BTEC First Diploma in Animal Care in 2007, I immediately started working as a veterinary assistant in a very popular animal clinic. This job provided me with the opportunity to l

earn more and experience firsthand the satisfaction, joy, and sadly, at times sorrow one gets when working with animals. I was also inspired to further my education in this sector. I started studies in Pet Grooming and Dog Training, while at the same time volunteering in various organizations and events. This is when I established my passion for pet grooming and have been enjoying it ever since. I have successfully completed a Diploma in Commercial Grooming being qualified in an award winning grooming parlour in Wales (UK).
