Want to join us in supporting a good cause? We're raising money for Spud who is one of our gorgeous dogs currently in foster with us after being found as a stray. He served his 7 days in the pound and sadly no owner came forward for him. Spud has started limping and showing signs of being in some pain, so we took him to the vet for treatment. Unfortunately, the vets feel he needs to have X-rays due to a possible cruciate injury. This alone will cost around £500 but we need to find out if Spud is going to need surgery.

Today, we collected loads of blankets, dog food, coats, and toys donated to us from the RSPCA Coventry and District Branch. Huge Thank You goes out to them from everyone here at Suki's Canine Rescue.

Back in October we found someone to take Bella as an emergency, thus saving her from the worse possible scenario.

She is now in a lovely foster home being further assessed

Beautiful Bella is a 7yr old Frenchie who came into rescue due to her owner’s very ill health.
Bella has come on in leaps and bounds while in foster, and her previous skin condition has improved greatly since being raw fed and taking her steroid medication. 🥰
She is a very chilled out dog in the home who loves affection and snuggles, but also loves a good game of tug when on offer.
Bella likes going on walks, is dog and cat friendly, but not been around small children while in foster.

Beautiful Bella is a 7yr old Frenchie who is being rehomed due to her owner’s very ill health.

She is currently in foster and so far doing amazing.

Bella is very playful girl and gets on well with other dogs, however due to being an ex puppy farm dog, she isn’t massively keen on puppies in her space. Bella ignores cats on walks, but has never lived with a cat, so we're unsure if cat friendly or not.
She loves her toys, and loves to play tug.
Bella walks well on the lead and is confident when out, but doesn't like walking in the rain.
Bella is fine when left home alone, but she does loves loads of company too. She will bark to be let outside to go toilet.
Bella comes from a calm and adult only home, however could suit a family with older calm children.
Bella comes with some allergies which are managed by diet. She also takes a steroid tablet once a day and on occasions has to have ear drops. Any potential new owner would need to be able to continue this treatment.

Meet Chase. 🥰 A gorgeous 1yr old SBT looking for a forever home.
Chase has gone over his time in the pound after being picked up as a stray. 😢
As no owner came forward for him, he will be signed over to the rescue.
So we need to get Chase into foster asap for further assessment. He is still in the stray kennels but if they need his kennel space for another stray, he will have nowhere to go, and we all know the reality of what will happen then.

PLEASE SHARE CASSIE

Cassie (Was Missy) is a gorgeous young GSD looking for her forever home.
She is doing really well in her foster home and doesn't mind being home alone when her foster mum goes to work. Cassie's lead walking needs to be worked on as she does pull at times and can sometimes be reactive towards other dogs (fear based).
Her foster mum is really trying hard with her and we have volunteer walkers who are all putting in a lot of work to ensure Cassie can enjoy her walks and eventually get over her fear of meeting other dogs.
Cassie is overall, a very loving girl who deserves a break from all the sad things that she's experienced in her short lifetime.

Narla is now ready for her Furever home. She is a Pocket Bully/Staffie mix and a gorgeous one at that. 🥰
Narla came in as a stray, and so our information is limited. Sadly, she wasn't claimed, and she went into Foster for further assessment. She's a lovely girl but really is going to need time, love, and patience. We think she's been kept indoors, so she needs to learn that the outside world isn't a scary place. We are looking for an adult only, pet free home for her. She definitely has a history that has left her scared, and she really needs a home that will take things slowly and build her back up.

We all had a fantastic time last night at the psychic event organised by the lovely Amanda Davies. The mediums were great, as was everyone who turned up to make the night a great success.
We raised £143.27p on the tombola and bucket change, plus £784.90 from the actual event, reaching a grand total of 🎉 £928.17p 🎊
Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and everyone who donated raffle prizes and cakes. 😘
We hope to see you all again at the next one 🙏

The news that's good enough to make a grown adult cry happy tears 😭 Albie has gone to his Furever home today. This handsome boy has won the hearts of all of us and it's bitter sweet to see him go. He has gone to an amazing home and can start to enjoy having a family to call his own. Good luck and be a good boy 😘

Yesterday Nala the last of the Dogue De Bordeaux puppies went off to her Furever home. She's such a lovely girl and will have an incredible new family to call her own. Good luck Nala be a good girl 🥰

The AMAZING news continues.....Odin has also been RESERVED! Odin has been in an amazing foster home for awhile and they have worked so hard with him. He has thrived with them and is now ready to leave the safety net of them and go to his own home. Well overdue and we'll deserved 👏
