Let’s find this boy a permanent living home!!! He deserves it!!! ❤️❤️❤️

It’s hard to believe that this guy hasn’t had one adoption inquiry yet. We are now desperately trying to find him a place to go. The Animal Shelter can not be his permanent home and with the influx of owner surrenders and strays coming through our doors we need to consider his length of stay - which has exceeded a year. His intake date was January 2022.

He is a 3 year old neutered male weighing 48.8lbs. Up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations and heartworm negative.

He's a love bug to the max especially after a little walk or play time. Hounds are known for a lot of things but can we take a moment to appreciate the soulful gaze that these big brown eyes deliver? I don't know what more anyone could ask from a dog than to be loyal and loveable. Sure he barks- all dogs do but it’s not excessive. Sure he'll crush your feet- but he can’t see past his floppy ears. But he'll also melt your heart. Andie has really improved his behavior while at the shelter but needs a home now more than ever. The shelter has become his home, he's often overlooked, and he's just not happy here. He has learned sit and shake since being here and walks nicely on a leash. Andie is fiercely loyal and utterly adores his people/person. He bonds with his people hard and fast.

He has been handled by all of our staff with no issues. He LOVES toys and can easily keep himself entertained for hours especially with a treat filled Kong.

Up to date on everything, I just took her to the vet a few weeks ago.
Spayed
Good with other dogs and kids (she jumps so she would need some training if kids were small)
She's interested in cats but hasn't been around one to know. She probably would play with it.
Needs active lifestyle and/or fenced in yard because she's very much puppy.
