Crawfish 💕
This sweet beautiful 5 year old girl is brand new to adoptions. She is a bit shy at first and unsure of what is going on. She's a tiny lady weighing in at only 41 lbs.
She would LOVE someone who could take her in to show her some patience, love and understanding and help her come out of her shell to show her true personality.💕 She is a lovely girl with lots of love to give.💗
Once she opens up…she is sweet, and definitely likes her treats.

🐶🐱🐾Adopt-A-Palooza is returning!
The 8th Annual Adopt-A-Palooza will be held on Saturday, September 28, at the Bradenton Area Convention Center from 11-3. Admission and parking are FREE. Join us for the largest one-day adoption and expo-style event in Manatee County. Featuring over 100 adoptable pets from Manatee County Animal Welfare, local shelters and animal rescues - all under one roof!
For pets from MCAW, all adoption fees will be waived in lieu of a donation made to Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare, the co-presenter of the event. The family-friendly event will include a marketplace with over 40 retail vendors selling a variety of products and services for pets in addition to raffles and silent auction items up for winning and search and rescue and dog training demonstrations.

This sweet , handsome easy going 6 year old boy is a volunteer and staff favorite!!
This boy is would make a wonderful addition to your family. He ADORES attention and is incredibly loving!!
He is always eager to be right by your side and lean right into you for some love and maybe some treats too 😂 He loves going to the conference and playing with his squeaky toys .. the more toys the better!! He has a very gentle and delightful personality and would make such a wonderful companion!! 💕

Baxter 💕💕
This very handsome and extremely intelligent 7 year old GSD boy is in search for his forever home. ❤️
He is one of the coolest dogs!! He is adores his walks and exploring around the shelter. He is a working dog, so he really loves to learn and he knows a lot of commands...such as sit, double paw, down , leave it, watch me and even roll over (where he wants his belly rubs ❤️😂).
He also adores to go to the conference room and play with squeaky toys and relax on the couch!!
He just finished his Heartworm treatment which was Funded by FoMCAWs " Heal My Heart " Fund. He is still is under restrictions so his heart can heal, but this fabulous boy is available for adoption today!! 💕

This tiny adorable little 3 year old boy only weighs 39lbs and is an absolute bundle of joy💕
He adores to go on his walks with his friends!

Princess is one of 115 dogs and 62 cats ready and waiting to go home with you today! She is also one of at least 30 of our current dogs who would make the perfect addition in homes that already have a dog. Alvin💕
This little cutie pie has been overlooked at the shelter. He is still a pup at 1 years and 3 months old. He's only 40 lbs. 💕
He is a bit shy when you meet him, but he warms up quickly with some treats and attention.
He walked amazing on the leash and had a wonderful time exploring everything around him.💕
He has been in playgroup and has made many friends and absolutely loves it!!
He went to the conference room and he had an amazing time playing with squeaky toys!! 🧸 He just showed his true personality. 💕💕
Alvin is a really wonderful boy. He's cute, fun loving and sweet.💕

Shawna is a beautiful, very sweet 2 year old girl who is searching for a loving family to call her own ❤️
She is a social butterfly who adores attention and lots of love from all the volunteers and staff.

Hi everyone!! It’s me Rooster again.💕
Over a week and half ago, I had FHO surgery to correct my old hip injury
I unfortunately came into the shelter with. I’m super grateful to everyone who donated towards my surgery, so I can finally get better !! 💗💕 Thank you!!

What I really need right now is a Medical Foster Please 🙏 No one has stepped up to be my medical foster. I’m really a really sweet boy, friendly, super lovable and I adore cuddles and give you kisses 💕 everyone thinks I’m a wonderful boy!
Recovering is a shelter is NOT ideal. A home environment is the best place for me. I can get the required care, attention, rest and lots of TLC. ❤️
A medical foster will also help me get on the road to recovery faster and then I can find my forever home. 💕💕

PUPdate on Casha 💕❤️

This Beautiful and very sweet 3 year old girl had a really rough beginning…she came into MCAW with 2 SEVERELY injured back legs.😢 The MCAW medical team asked FoMCAW to step into help and we certainly couldn't say no. She needed 2 separate surgeries…one was a femur fracture surgery and the other one was a FHO surgery. Casha did really well for both of her surgeries ( thank you to the dedicated team at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota for always helping our MCAW animals!!) and then she went into a loving, caring and amazing medical home to recover.❤️‍🩹💕💕
Thank you foster!!

Today this sweetheart went into a FOSTER TO ADOPT home with a lovely lady and her daughter!! 💕They know All about rescue dogs and they absolutely adore and LOVE Casha!! ❤️ She is one of sweetest, happiest and fun loving girls and we are just overjoyed for her!!
After all she went through she now deserves a wonderful home to lay her head, play with some squeaky toys, get lots of love, snuggles and rest. 🥰

Thank you to everyone who donated towards Casha's surgery and getting her on the road to recovery! ❤️‍🩹 FoMCAW is very thankful... but Casha is the most grateful!! 💕

Meet Deputy 💕
This boy is new to adoptions and was extremely happy to meet everyone!! He's 4 years old and is already making an impression on staff and volunteers.💕
He is very handsome as you can see 💕 very sweet, friendly fun loving boy!! He had a wonderful time in the conference room playing with some squeaky toys and relaxing on the couch and getting some TLC 💗 he loves attention!!! He also showed some of his skills…he knows sit and double paw,🐾 he so cute!!

PUPdate on our sweet Honey Bee 🐝 💕

As most of you know, Miss Honey Bee went into surgery yesterday at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota to have her extremely large tumor removed from her back leg. When she went into surgery, the tumor was even LARGER than expected. It was entirely
Consuming the nerves, muscles and even the sciatica nerve of her leg. The best option for this sweetheart was to amputate her left back leg.
So this adorable darling lady will now be a tripod 💕💕 we love our tripods!! She did really well for her surgery!! Everyone at VSC fell in love with her sweet, lovable, quiet personality and how she thumps her tail when she's happy 😃
Honey Bee is going directly into a very loving and amazing foster home to recover ❤️‍🩹 and we will keep you updated on her journey.!!

At just 11 months old, Tory is like a delicate flower in need of a little sunshine to bloom. 🌸 She might be a bit shy at first, but give her a little love and she’ll transform into your purring princess in no time!

Remember our sweet Honey Bee 🐝? Today is her surgery day!

Honey Bee is one of our newest medical pups FoMCAW has welcomed through our " Grace and Friends Medical " Fund.
Despite having lived a rough life , she remains extremely sweet and friendly 💕Honey Bee is 7 years old and came in with a tumor on her back leg that is over 15 inches long 😢 She has been carrying this tumor for awhile and it has been affecting her front leg, causing atrophy and a slight limp due to the weight of the tumor.

On top of that , she came into MCAW Heartworm positive. But FoMCAW will fund her treatment through our " Heal My Heart " Fund ❤️

Honey Bee already received a CT Scan and a biopsy with Dr Rose at Veterinary Surgery Center of Sarasota to determine the nature of the tumor. Thankfully it is a very LARGE Lipoma.
TODAY, because of your generous donations and support to FoMCAW Medical Fund, Miss Honey Bee went into surgery today with Dr Rose and will get the surgery required to remove the VERY large Lipoma 💕💕
This surgery will not only make her feel much better, it will make her feel like a normal dog again 💗

Honey Bee is such a sweet, loving and special girl 💕 She is a delightful lady who loves to give little kisses, adores her naps even right on your lap! She also gets along with other dogs too 💕 She is such a sweetheart!! She will be recovering in an AMAZING and wonderful foster home until fully recovered.

She will be available for Foster To Adopt as she will need to go through her heartworm treatment once fully recovered.
