By the way this is Brownie 🤎

Brownie was our very first customer in the door when we opened 12 years ago, and it has taken her every bit of those 12 years to let me get this close 😄 just kidding maybe half those years, but this is what dog grooming is sometimes, it’s not just grabbing clippers and scissors and delivering beautiful haircuts, sometimes it’s training, and working with a pup so they can get comfortable with you and building that trust, this is why once you start in this career you can’t just quit it, it’s been 20 years for me 😬 this month actually! Even tho life has taken me on other endeavors lately, I could never leave my pups! 🥹

20 years makes me an expert AND it’s also time for a new name so, with much love 🫶🏽

Let's paws for a moment to *officially* welcome our furry friend to the force. While Hondo was only playing "Chief for the day", we aren't playing when we say he's 100% adorable!

Hondo has a nose for justice and a tail that won't quit, but is all business! He's ready to get out on the streets and get to work!

Happy 12th Birthday to us!! Please be aware that we are monitoring the situation with the reported respiratory illnesses going around. We are in communication with the staff at Valley View Pet Health Center next door, and we have not yet seen any cases of this in our area. As always, we take the health of your pets very seriously, and are doing our best to uphold a hygienic environment in our salon and maintain distance between dogs.

Reports of an "outbreak" of some as yet unidentified canine respiratory illness are scaring dog owners. But veterinarians and researchers aren't panicking.

We have been made aware that there is a canine respiratory infection spreading in some parts of the country. Although we have not yet heard any reports of the illness making its way to north Texas, we want to assure you that, as always, we are making every effort to maintain a hygienic environment and to prevent contact between dogs that do not live together.
If your dog has a cough or shows signs of illness, please reschedule any upcoming appointments until your dog is clear of symptoms. Thank you.
