We are located in the Workington area and have 15 years of experience in the pet industry. We also have a diploma in animal management and own Pet Encounter Cumbria, so you know your animals are in safe hands 😘

We are DBS checked, first aid, licensed, and insured!

Worried if your Pet needs medical attention? 🩺💉

With your permission, when filling out our boarding form, we can get your pet to their vet or ours and keep you posted with their progress.

We can also send photos and videos so you can see how much fun your pets are having and know they are in safe loving hands ❤️

This week, we picked up little Peach from Whitehaven for an overnight stay due to having no power at home , thanks to storm éowyn.🌩💨

📢Avian Flu Update📢

Avian Influenza Prevention Zone declared for whole of England

The UK Chief Veterinary Officer has ordered a new Avian Influenza Prevention Zone AIPZ to cover the whole of England from noon on Saturday 25 January following the escalating number of cases of avian influenza and continued heightened risk levels in wild birds.

The move will require keepers to conduct enhanced biosecurity to mitigate the risk of further outbreaks of the disease. Please see more details below

Hi everyone 👋

🚨🚨🚨 ⛈️ 💨 🌧️ We are currently busy moving all of our outdoor animals inside and preparing for the incoming Storm Eowyn. With amber and red weather warnings in place we advise where possible to move your outdoor animals inside and take extreme care when letting dogs and cats go outside as fences and gates may be blown open or damaged. 🐕 🐈

We have a number of animals in our care now that are ready to find their forever homes 🏡

Our longest residents who has been in our care for a year is Mrs Crawley, a female yemman Chameleon 🦎

Animals looking for their new home is a

🐢 Tortoise
🦜Ring-necked parakeet
🐹 2 female Guineapigs
🐰 1 young rabbit

All these animals do have a back story and are not for a first-timer. They would be best, especially the reptiles and bird, to a more experienced owner.

There will be an adoption fee that will go back into animals that come in our care and are not free.
