Hello, everyone! We had someone reach out to us and was ready to start a training program but unfortunately, they are going to need to rehome the puppy instead. We offered to help with that process.
Teddi is an 8 month old female mini goldendoodle around 10 pounds. She is up to date on all vaccines and has been spayed. Teddi is crate trained and potty trained. She is very friendly with people and other dogs. The owner has been participating in basic obedience classes but reached out to us for some help on working through distractions, better leash skills, and to mitigate some jumping. Teddi has a rehoming fee of $250. If you or someone you know is interested, please message us and we will get you in contact with the owner. Serious inquiries only, please, as this is a very hard decision for the owner and not one that she is taking lightly.

Huge congratulations to our client Jim and his dog, Thor, for completing their Day School program with Trainer Chuck! They came in with the goal of off leash reliability and there have been a few times (even before his program was finished) that Jim said he found himself forgetting a leash because he knows Thor will listen when he tells him to come or heel next to him. 🥳

Throwback to a late summer Support Class. We are dreaming of warmer weather over here! 😫 About half the dogs in this specific class have struggled with various levels of reactivity. There were times that those dogs had reactions during class. Because no dog is perfect. Completing training doesn’t necessarily always mean the issue(s) your dog struggles with go away completely. This can be due to a variety of different factors. But the difference with training is that there are always ways to prevent, manage, and work through reactivity. And that’s what we see during Support Class. It’s a community where you and your dog can be around other dogs, people, and distractions in a safe and structured way. If your dog has a hard day, that’s alright — we want you to keep coming back!

Today is Doc's first day of school with Trainer Erin M. As you can see in the video, he is full of energy. Teaching him how to have a calm state of mind is crucial. One way to do this is to teach the dog to automatically lay down when on place. This will eventually signal to Doc that, when on place, you are to relax and chill. Enjoy a time lapse of Trainer Erin teaching Doc the beginning stages of of this much needed life skill!
