Our Story
When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having a family. What I didn’t know was that my children all wound up having 4 legs each and fur. After much anticipation, my first little girl was welcomed to the family. Jenny was her name. She was such a little princess, I had to find her a little crown and for Halloween, she always dressed as a Queen. Her daddies eyes. Yes, she was, the first “born”. A little white toy poodle, who ruled the roost, until, one day, her big brother, Sam, came to the house. Sammy Samuel was the prettiest boy a Mom could have. He was an apricot medium sized poodle with the spunkiest little attitude. My Silly Ole Sam. Until, Jicka Jicka Jack came along. On an errand to buy their dog food, the feed store happened to have poodle puppies. I just wanted to hold one, that’s all. He never left me for 16 years and I miss him terribly, another little white poodle. But Jenny and Sammy were getting old and set in their ways, Jack needed a little buddy. Along came Rusty Roo Roo. When you look at the family portrait, you will clearly see who is who. Now, Daisy Cat found us. She would always look inside of my glass door and I had to let her in. She was a resident for 14 years, the best 14 years of my life. Now, Rusty Roo is the only one left and I cherish every moment we have together knowing our time is short. He is now 17 years old and healthy. Several years back, I got disillusioned by the dog food industry. I thought how disgusting. The dog food on the market is just disgusting. So, I made their dog food til this day. If you are interested in my dog food recipe, I will be more than happy to share. It’s cleaner than what I eat. So, there you have it, my passion. My puppies. Everything I have done in the past 20 years has revolved around them. Hence, Goochi Poochi and Me, a doggie boutique with some cat things too. Have fun and enjoy browsing my website, as it is in a continual state of construction. Sort of like any boutique, things are moving around, in different categories and seasonal items as well. The best way to search is the search bar, but I am doing the best I can with the categories. Also, please send us a picture of your babies as well. My shop in Breckenridge, Colorado was the cutest shop in town. All the little girls would come in and sit on the zebra rug and pet Jack while Rusty would greet everyone at the door with a warm handshake and a little dance. He even made a commercial where he said his name...RaRaRooRoo! The cutest shop in town. But, being a southern girl at heart, the cold got to us. It was time to move to the beach where we are today. No, I am not reopening the store, as I am now a virtual store. Please feel free to contact me for anything whatsoever! It’s the southern way! See y’all later!! Have a Blessed and Safe Day!!! And Rusty says “Ruff” too!
