My name is Ladybug and I'm an extremely lovable 3 year old pitbull mix who was rescued from the LCDW and went into a rescue group called Planned Pethood. My mommy fostered me for a long time (over a year) and finally decided I'm a keeper! I absolutely adore all people and love to get attention and I love to play! My foster mom had noticed that I had a major limp and appear to be in pain. She took
me to the vet where they told her that I have ankle hyperextension, abnormally high knee caps, and two torn ACLs (whatever that means). They say that I had to have to have surgery on my knees to make me feel all better. I had the surgery and am still recovering. I have severe arthritis but everything healed well, and we think I will be on meds for the rest of my life to help with the pain. Due to the pain, it appears I have developed some fear aggression with strange men and cats (weird I know) and am going to be seeing a trainer to help me realize the pain isn't being caused by those things and how to get past it. Mommy says she's in it for the long haul and will love me no matter what!
