**UPDATE**
We are back in the shop shipping orders out slowly but surely. I am feeling a ton better but still experiencing numbness and weakness in my left arm. Most of you have been understanding and kind regarding your orders, I appreciate that so so much 💕 for the time being customs are closed, NO EXCEPTIONS! And I may shut down the website temporarily until my health is figured out, I’m going to give it til next week to see if we can get caught up to decide. Once again, I appreciate all the kind words and patience. Unfortunately Kay Equine cannot operate without myself and my two hands.

I had a really scary horse wreck yesterday. I was riding out in our pasture ba****ck and the deer must of ran through our fence stringing the bottom wire through the tall grass across the pasture. Unfortunately we rode right on top of it not knowing and it shocked the horse I was on resulting in me eating dirt. God was definitely watching over me but I hurt my neck pretty good (still waiting on results) and took a hoof to the face. My arms are very limited in strength and mobility currently. I’m behind on orders and I’m embarrassed to say idk how I’m going to catch up anytime soon now with my arms and hands unable to work properly. We are going to continue on working in the shop this week and I’m sincerely sorry for anyone waiting on orders currently, I don’t have an eta but I promise we are still going. If you are waiting on an order and would like to swap it for something we have in stock, I’d be happy to do so and I’d make it worth swapping.
My messages are a mile long after the holiday weekend. I’ll do my best to get back to everyone as soon as I can. Please don’t hesitate to bump your message.

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Production Member in our thriving leather shop. As a production member, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality leather goods. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Manufacture leather goods according to established guidelines.
- Perform various tasks such as cutting, stitching, assembling, and finishing leather products.
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment used in the production process.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any defects or imperfections.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking and replenishing supplies as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative ideas for enhancing product quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with light physical labor, including standing, bending, and lifting objects up to a certain weight.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
- Knowledge of leatherworking tools and techniques is a plus, but not mandatory.
