Some people wear the heart on their sleeves. Well, BJ wears his heart on his paw!
BJ was just recently neutered, microchipped and his vaccination series was completed so he's now ready for adoption.
This super cute guy appears to be a Border Collie on the smaller side. We're not sure if it has anything to do with his early life, if it's his genes or both. What we do know though according to his foster mama.... "Our cute little bucket head is turning into an amazing pup. His energy level is fabulous. He is extremely playful. He went through a short period where his ears flopped down and now they are standing straight up again. He sits, shakes and lays down, has a great appetite and is currently living with a cat and two dogs. They all get along just fine. He also has the cutest little heart on his paw."
And here is some more that his foster mama shared with us…
“BJ is a whopping 26.8 pounds now. He was 13.6 when I got him here. He was missing some hair and here and there, everything is filled in and he is a very healthy puppy now. BJ has been never mean with anybody. As he’s still a puppy, he can still be a bit mouthy and wants to nip in his playfulness. The grandbabies enjoy him a lot until he starts getting nippy. We're working on that one.
BJ sleeps crated and now goes into the crate on his own when I tell him it's night night time. He will p*e on command when I take him out, but will have an accident in his crate sometimes if I don't take him out before he goes to bed. BJ does run after a tennis ball, but he is still competing with my border collie so as of yet he hasn't had the opportunity to learn to fetch. If he's able to get the ball, he hasn't learned to bring it back yet, but that's not gonna be a problem. I'm sure. Once we get the cone off, we'll see what he does. BJ doesn't have a problem sleeping in a big fluffy bed with the cat. They get along until he decides to rough house with the cat, who is not so appreciative of that.”
