Local K9 Hero 🐾

GOOD BOY K9 AXEL! Last night, K9 Axel was called to assist a local police dept with a report of a burglary in progress. K9 Axel arrived, and began barking at the doorway while Deputy Gauer made announcements inside, to warn anyone in the home that K9 Axel would be released. A man acknowledged the announcements, but refused to exit. K9 Axel began searching the home, and the man surrendered before K9 Axel reached him. The man was turned over to the local police dept, so they could continue their burglary investigation.

Gunther has waiting so long for a forever home. 😢. Let’s see this little guy get the special home he deserves. He gets along with dogs, cats and kids. Because he’s only been around older kids I think kids under 8 we don’t know.

Gunther is a rat terrier mix with maybe greyhound. He weighs maybe 17 pounds or so. He’s such a good, sweet and easy boy!

Here’s the info on them:

Louie and Frankie are Standard poodle puppies that were born October 11. They are with a rescue organization called Animal Education and Rescue based out of Libertyville, Illinois. They are staying in a foster home.
