If you're looking for an extremely playful hob, then look no further!

To no fault of his own, we have decided to rehome Solt, our wonderful boy we got from Sugar And Spice Ferretry.

With our break from breeding and life being extra hard on us this year, I feel that Solt would be a lot more comfortable and happier in a home where he can express himself ❤️

Solt is a year old Champagne/Chocolate Hob who is a bit on the small side (he can thank his father for that). He is the weaseliest little weasel in every sense; all he wants to do is play, play, play! He will scale up your leg, jump into your arms, and chase you around.

He is intact, meaning all his manly bits are there! Because of this, he will go through heat cycles and will get stinkier/greaser around these times. As stated in my adoption application, I have recommendations on the safest ways to alter your ferrets without risk of adrenal developing.

Solt can only go home if you're willing to feed him a raw diet (as pictured below). This is what he has eaten all his life and keeps him healthy ❤️

Solt was raised around cats and other ferrets. He can live with other ferrets safely, but would have to be housed separately when he goes into heat cycles. He is absolutely fine being a single ferret as he has been housed alone.

Hello, everyone!

Happy New Year! ❤️

I apologize things have been a bit quiet around here. 2024 was a bit hectic.

I've come to say that we will not be breeding this year, but perhaps in 2026. It's practically kit season now and if you're looking to add a new carpet shark to your family, I can absolutely point you in the right direction to other breeders!

Our current noodles are "pets only" and have been a handful enough ❤️

It's bittersweet that our very first litter celebrates their first birthday next month. Flipper is already such a big boy! ❤️ Him and Peppa are inseparable; the big oaf and his tiny older sis ❤️ Solt, Peppa's true brother, is always keeping them on their toes (and always going for mine)!

There is still a sore spot in my heart from when Timber left us, but I'm thankful to have her brother and get updates on all her siblings ❤️

I will likely not post many updates this year or check on this page; I apologize if you cannot get ahold of me.

Random ferret updates!

Currently babysitting one of our kits, Clover! I could tell how closely bonded she was to her human mama when she was dropped off. As a single ferret, she gets lots of attention at home, but it's exciting for her to visit her siblings again! (: Her owner is hoping to get her a friend someday ❤️ Clover gets to vacation in the cage she grew up in!

Seeing everyone else compared to itty bitty Peppa is crazy. Her favorite thing is to use me as a jungle gym OR find any way possible she can get into our ceiling. Good thing she comes right to my hands whenever she gets up there 😒 How can something so innocent be so naughty?

Peppa lives with her younger, but significantly LARGER brother, Flipper! Flipper is quite a special noodle... A big, dumb oaf as you say... You can see how he nips Peppa in the face, but you'd be surprised how well she puts him in his place! They're a precious duo ❤️

Solt has a cage of his own, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get to play with the others! When in season, he could only come out alone, but now that his hormones have settled, he plays with everyone just fine ❤️ He is definitely a lover boy ❤️

Tuesdays are cage cleaning day, meaning they get EXTRA time out of the cage while all their things are in the wash!

I have to admit, things still aren't the same without Timber... She was one-of-a-kind; mellow, kissy, but oh so playful ferret. She would scale me like a mountain just to cover my face in licks. I'll never forget the impact she made and Timber will always have a piece of my heart ❤️

I still have a few people reaching out to see if I have any kits. I don't have anyone in season nor am I breeding at this time. For now, I'll post occasionally about how everyone is doing and if I decide to do anything next year.

Timber is home.

She's so cold.

Everytime I look at her, I feel her, I smell her... it's like she is just sleeping peacefully; like she could wake up any minute.

Little droplets of blood still manage to escape her airways and it makes me sick to my stomach.

I hate it, but I took a look at her little belly covered in stitches... I don't know what I was thinking, bringing her home like this. It's so much harder. I can't let my baby go.

Matthew is preparing a place to lay her to rest and I keep stroking her cheeks, just wishing she would perk up.

When I lost my first ferret, Tinkerbell, I admittedly kept slept with her body for a whole night. I know it's not healthy or possible for me to do the same with Timber.

Everything is ready, but I'm not. I love you, Timber. I'm so glad that you were mine and you always will be.

Wherever you are, I hope you're safe and know how much I miss you already.

I'm sorry for not being very active. I've learned the very hard way how brutal ferret breeding can be...

This morning, I awoke to my sweet little angel, Timber, laying lifelessly. Just the night before, she was jumping around and giving me kisses.

There was some blood coming from her mouth and I scooped her up and cradled her for about an hour, cleaning her precious little face and squishing her still warm paws.

I called my vet and thankfully they were able to take her in for a necropsy. I just got the call that Timber had some sort of abnormalities with her respiratory system. They said there were clots present, explaining the blood. She had a clot lodged in her trachea which is likely what caused her passing.

I asked every question I could; was I using harsh chemicals when cleaning her cage? Maybe it was some sort of fragrance spray I used? The vet said her lungs didn't have any long-term damage and that it was highly unlikely anything was environmental. The harsh reality is that this world decided to curse her.

My heart is shattered in a billion pieces. I knew she was mine from the moment she opened her one little eye; Timber the cutest pirate to have ever existed.

Here are some pictures I took of her throughout her short life. I'm so glad I was adamant on documenting every one of her milestones.

Timber, you were taken to soon, but the impact you made on me, your papa Matthew, and all your noodle + kitty siblings will always be there.

I bring her home tomorrow and I'm still unsure what I plan to do, but I'm excited to hold her one last time

All babies have gone to their forever homes! ❤️

It took awhile to place everyone because I tried my best to make sure everyone went to a knowledgeable, prepared, and loving family... BUT MY GOODNESS, THEY ARE SPOILED! ❤️

I'm so thankful and happy for all their new families and it fills my heart with so much joy knowing all kits are getting the utmost care and endless love ❤️ No mistakes were made! ❤️

I experienced a lot with my first litter and learned a lot of things that I can improve on in the future. And because of that, I'll be taking a wee break from breeding. But I know that my next pairing will be very special and will include two noodles that I would have raised from birth/youth. When the time comes, you'll definitely see updates! ❤️

I'll be returning Springtime and Gooseberry to SAS, as well as giving her the littlest Jill from the litter! It will be sad to say goodbye, but I'm glad of all the time we spent and all the love that came out of it ❤️

I thought it would be a good time to introduce the kits individually! ❤️

They are 4 and a half weeks now, eating meat like CHAMPS, starting to play wrestle with each other, and snoozing the day away ❤️ Some babies are even still preparing to open their eyes!

The kits still have lot of room to grow and show off their personalities, but this is what I've gathered about each Bubba so far! ❤️

Going in order from smallest to largest...

Chocolate Point Female Small (One): She is the tiniest of the litter and has a lot to say! She likes to meep for mama and likes the company of her siblings than being alone. But if one of her siblings wants to play, she'd rather opt out of the rough housing!

Chocolate Point Female Small (Two): She is the second smallest of the litter and is very calm but inquisitive. She already loves to explore, but will feel comfy being in my hands.

Dark Chocolate Point Female Small (Three; also my keeper meeper): The first to open eyes and extremely docile. She barely makes a sound unless she is having a bad dream. Already give me kisses when I put her up to my face ❤️

Chocolate Point Female Medium (Four): Lazy baby and content with being held in any which way! Still waiting for her eyes to open, but it doesn't seem to bother her with all the snoozing she does!

Chocolate Point Female Medium (Five): Laid back kit that will occasionally have something to say! Her eyes are still not yet open, but that doesn't stop her from chowing down and playing with her siblings. Biggest of the females.

Sable Male Medium (Six): If I decide to hold back another, it may be this boy but TBD! Extremely docile and doesn't have a care in the world.

Chocolate Sable Point Male Large (Seven): Biggest troublemaker and doesn't even have his eyes open yet! The first kit that wanted to tussle with my hand and always starts play fights with his siblings. Also, enjoys being a messy boy!

Sable Point Male Large (Eight): Calm but inquisitive. Enjoys attention! Tied as the largest with his other Chocolate brother.

I recommend that people wait until they're at least 6 weeks to officially reserve a baby, as I can better get to know them and their personalities by then! (: But if you're really stuck on any of these bubbas, let me know! ❤️ Reservations go in order of first to last accepted adoption application (:

Babies are 3 weeks and 2 days old and are MEEPIER than ever! Turn up the volume!

What I've noticed is every kit has a unique voice or cry that seems to be a little different than the others! I've noticed this same thing with all the kittens/cats I've raised!

And some of the babies hardly fuss at all! They just stay quiet and sleep ❤️

There was one screechy baby that yawned in the middle of her fussing and then continued right on!

You can see their little teefers coming in and they'll be introduced to some soupies and ground meat soon ❤️

It's been ALL about the babies for a few weeks, so how about an update on our two, silly siblings?

They've grown so big and are attached to the hip when it comes to playtime! (:

And Peppa is oh so tiny! ❤️ It's so funny comparing her to all my other noodles!

I haven't decided if I REALLY want to use them in my breeding project yet. I find Peppa to be too tiny to subject her to breed, but I might let Solt father a litter before I get him vasectomized!

All in all, they're my pets, my babies, my family! ❤️
