I have been struggling with Multiple Sclerosis for almost 3 years now.
I would like to say that I am doing well, but it's actually been a struggle.
Things that have been happening to me:
❗️Extreme exhaustion and fatigue
❗️Body pain that lasts for many hours of the day
❗️Numbness and tingling sensations in my hands and fingers
❗️Blurry vision and loss of balance
I am afraid to book another MRI...
"Is it getting worse? " is the first question that enters my mind.
I have to trust that it's going to be ok ...
Monday REAL TALK 👄
A question I get asked MANY times.
'How do you stay so positive during your Multiple Sclerosis journey?'
We all battle something.
I battle each day with Multiple Sclerosis.
Last years MRI Scan wasn't good.
My Relapsing-Remitting MS was aggressive.
Lately my battles have included:
Headaches
Neck pain and stiffness all the time
Constant lack of appetite
Vision changes and eye pain
Changes in mood, personality, behavior, mental ability, and concentration
Memory loss and confusion
To be honest it's been extremely difficult lately.
I have many days where I struggle with even getting out of bed 🛌.
I have many days where the devil attacks me and says, "you aren't good enough, you aren't a good mother and you should just stay in bed."
Having a purpose with intention.
Stop those thoughts before you believe them and tell yourself what you intend to get done.
Each morning I have a decision to make:
Do I let Multiple sclerosis define who I am or do I let it push me to break through the barriers of these hurdles and say,
"not today devil, not today. "
Where does my strength come from ?
My faith in God pulls me through all of my hardships and keep me positive each day.
My strength to get up each day for my husband and for my children is what motivates me.
My commitment to my family and tend to the kids
Making meals for family, clean house, homeschooling to water all of the animals, milk my goat 🐐, pick e
Shout out to the woman:
that have not felt okay lately,
but you get up everyday
and refuse to quit.
Give God your weakness, and He will give you your strength.

I am truly grateful for my life.
Let me tell you things have NOT been easy by any means.
Our family has gone through so much trauma and heartache its truly hard to get a grasp on it sometimes.
We have had so many disappointing circumstances and I have prayed so many times for a better outcome.
Sometimes in the thick of it all what we don't realize is that God is STILL working for us through all of this. We may not understand why it's happening to us, but I have to trust in God's plan through all of it.
We have a story to tell and I am not giving into to all of the devils tricks, and he will never tear our family apart.
We will share our story soon.
If you are struggling with how to cope with it all just remember,
'Dont tell God how big your storm is, tell the storm how big your God is.'

Well, life gives us challenges all the time.
You need to look up and realize that there is always something to look forward to, and the sun will always rise even though sometimes the clouds are in the way.
God always has a plan.
And sometimes, we just can’t see the clear path.

Children from a very young age should be taught that the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West.
That if you point your right hand to the East, your face will face North and your back will face South.
That the direction of the water in a river is towards the sea, that the Moon rises in the East and sets in the West.
That if there is no moon, there is a star that indicates the north and your latitude, that the closer you are to the horizon, the more you see the Polar Star, and if you see a bird in the middle of the sea, it is because there is land where it flies.
Respect and love for animals, trees, the earth, and the elements that give us life.
Teach them all this before giving them a cell phone because the cell phone runs out and the signal is lost... wisdom is never lost.

To the women who has lost their spark.
To the people whose get up and go, has well and truly gone.
This is for you.
This is to remind you, that you don’t have to be everything to everyone, every day.
You didn’t sign up for that.
Remember when you used to laugh? Sing?
Throw caution to the wind?
Remember when you used to forgive yourself more quickly for not always being perfect.
You can get that back again.
You really can.
And that doesn’t have to mean letting people down or walking away.
It just means being kinder to you, feeling brave enough to say 'NO' sometimes.
Being brave enough to stop sometimes.
And rest.
It starts the moment you realise that you’re not quite who you used to be.
Some of that is good, some of that is not.
There are parts of you that need to be brought back.
And if anyone in your life is not okay with that… they are not your people. Your people will be glad to see that spark starting to light up again.
So, if you have been slowly fading away my friend, this is the time to start saying yes to things that bring you joy and no to things that don’t.
