A needed reminder**

If you miss appointments and the coat is more work then the cost is also more. That is the basic point of the long message below.

This is a year round message but especially with this weather being cold, dogs getting in the snow and mud but also wearing sweaters, or just overall owner wants to leave longer due to temps. I get it. My dogs are doing all of these things this week especially. But You cannot go 12+ weeks and think the coat has the same needs as the 5 week coat routine. This is why I stress staying on schedule and if something arises then talk to me please. We can take them shorter to help the groom last longer or just know the price will match the added work.

It isn't just a shave. Blades are meant for a clean and prepped coat otherwise they dull and need maintenance but Shaving this off is necessary before the bath in order to do it well. This means my blades will get hot quicker, I will have to switch them out faster, they will need extra oil, they will need cleaning after not just disinfected, they will need to see a sharpener... all of which takes time and takes money which means the groom is more. Wear and tear on equipment and more time = $$

She is a super sensitive girl but equally as sweet. She loves getting a bath and is great for her hair cut but she says we can skip the dryer 🙃

Think they are content? The sweet Berner boys all ready for the snow ❄️ apocalypse to come. Staying trimmed up and clean means less hair for the snow to stick to and when it turns to wet and mud soon.... well they won't be matted and yucky.

Presleigh said she wanted to be lavender today 💜
She got purple and lavender feathers and pastel color but the camera didn't pick up the color super well. She is an ADORABLE girl ready to do poodle zoomies in our expected snow ❄️ ☺️

This is likely the only time Mr Mickey has ever been groomed without his girl Remi. Let me just tell you how sweet and cuddly he was. It was just us today and he has never been better. He is always good but he is young and energetic. Today So loving and jumping on table for me and letting me know someone was at the door. Good boy my handsome man. He's a wet face boy so trying to keep a cute face but short at mouth. I think it suits his expressive look.
