Shedding season is still upon us. His coat was looking less black and more of a brown slate shade and definitely no shine... that's because he had dead coat that needed to come out. Now his coat is black and shiny again! He is an older guy and his coat doesnt always shed properly now so his momma keeps him on a good shedule.

Sometimes people roll their eyes at dogs that are groomed often because "well they are just dogs" or "they don't have to look pretty all the time" or "that's more than I spend on my own hair, I'll just do it myself". ... grooming is about the health of the skin and coat thats why everyones routine is different and some people learn to do it themself. Some dogs may need a weekly bath for skin issues or age and some dogs can come every 3 months. Routine grooming shows you care. You don't skip washing and brushing your own hair now do you....

Bentley looks seriously but that's only because I'm squeaking a toy. He's positive bath day is the best day ever. He loves getting a bath. He runs and jumps in the tub even though sometimes it's not his turn.
