Thank you all for your healing thoughts and well wishes for Stoli. Stoli’s intussusception surgery was a success, and though she is quite drugged up, she is eating and in good spirits. She is not out of the woods yet though, and how she does the next five days will be indicative of of her overall prognosis. The vet said if Stoli had not been operated on this morning, she likely would not have survived the day.

Stoli will be unable to nurse so I will be bottle feeding her four beautiful kittens for the next five weeks. My wallet is a lot lighter but I am so thankful that we still have this precious girl. She is so special to our family. 💕

First litters are seldom smooth sailing. It was a long night for Stoli birthing 8 kittens (4 of which were DOA). Although I am bummed about the losses, I am happy that we have 4 healthy kittens (at quick glance, all appear to be male). 🧡🧡🧡🖤
