YOUR PETS CANNOT SURVIVE IN THE EXTREME TEMPS THAT ARE HEADED OUR WAY

It’s cold outside. Please BRING PETS INSIDE in freezing temperatures.

Be on the lookout for animals needing help. If a neighbor dog doesn't have appropriate housing and you feel safe, kindly approach the owners and offer help - to take the dog in for the evening; offer straw for their dog house; offer to get them a dog house (which an outreach group can bring to them).

Some people are just cruel, but others just don't have the resources to afford what their animals need and/or don't know who to ask for help. If you believe the animal is in immediate danger please call animal control at 316-350-3360 or call 911.

Hug your babies tight in the cold! They deserve it.

Great reminder: Watch out for your animal companions as the weather finally starts turning cold. The cold weather certainly affects critters that have outdoor habitats, but it can also affect those inside. Watch out for drafts and make sure everyone is warm with proper heat sources/lamps, bedding and other important items. Please always reach out to our expert team if we can help answer any questions!
