Meet “Docsscarlet Lady WTA” a 2020 Mare of the Appaloosa Horse club association out of “ Proud Roamin Lady” and By “Ima Docs Challenge” . Standing 15hh.

Scarlett has a wonderful start to her mostly in the cow ranch / trail world but also a little arena work. Her demeanor is very calm and collected and she wants to please . She is a wonderful prospect for an all around horse . Most of her under saddle days have been trail riding on all types of Arizona terrain and helping move cattle on the ranch . She absolutely loves to walk out on the trails and take in all the scenery around her. She will cross over logs / tall gate steps . Handles rocky incline and declines very well and sure footed . She is great with the neighborhood scarys , vehicles passing , dogs running etc . She doesn’t spook very much , but if she does is a very quick little body drop and then she carries on laughing at herself after . With the cows I believe she is in her most happiest element . Loves to be working them and behind them . She has worked them in groups on the ranch , as well as tracking the dummy and live calves out of the box . She has had ropes swung off of her and around her , but she has not actively roped cattle off of her yet . I believe she will take to it very fast and is an amazing breakaway / roping prospect. She has roped sticks/logs out in the desert on trails . Her owner would rope a loose branch and then drag it behind her . In the arena she is collecting and holding circles wonderfully , however still green and hasn’t done a whole lot yet . Walk , trott , lope understanding ques with leg and rein pressure. Her lope can be a bit choppy still since she just really started being asked to hold circles . She moves off leg , side passes to open gates , neck and direct reins , and has a phenomenal stop. I would describe her as more whoah then go currently and very laid back . She has also trotted through the pole , barrel , and gymkhana patterns totally loving it . She has also been hauled out and rode around at gymkhanas/barrel races !

I would definitely recommend an experienced owner because she is very young and learning still , however in the video my fiancé is riding her on trails and he is about as green as a adult rider gets , the owners non - experienced wife also rode her during the cattle gathering and she did great .
Scarlett stands tied to be groomed , saddled , and for Ferrier . She loads up in the trailer like a dream ! Up to date on vaccines and de wormer .
