We have always tried to rescue animals whenever we can. 6 1/2 years ago we were able to find a miracle. Our niece Cassidy called and told me that there was a blue Weimaraner that had just been brought in to the Humane Society in Douglasville. I happen to be a few minutes away and stopped in to check him out. After a few minutes, there was no doubt that this needed to be our dog and my wife Lesley on a FaceTime with me told me “go rescue that dog. !”

Barely a year after joining our family, he got very sick with leptospirosis. He should not have lived through that experience, but he did. Thank you so much to Harmony Animal Hospital who gave us six more years with our boy. They consistently called him their miracle. They treated him through spider bites, snake bites, torn, ACL, and all other forms of doggy boo-boos. Dr. Mason and Dr. Grasso we could not thank you and your staff enough for the time that you gave us. And the love that you gave Sam.

This morning we had to say goodbye for now. But we will continue to love him, miss him, and look forward to seeing him again.

We need to rehome part of our stock, and have the following available...
Mature Ewes, 12 to choose from. They are not currently bred but I will consider pairing with a capable ram for a month if requested. These range from 1 1/2 years old to 5 years old. Most have been bred for at least one cycle.

Yearlings (total of 22) this is a mix of this years offspring around 6 months old. I have a mix of 12 females and 10 males. They are all vaccinated and healthy. Mix and match to your needs.

Rams. I have (3) 1.5 year old rams that will make beautiful breeding stock, or could stock a freezer if you'd like.
If you are looking to create a starter flock look no further.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our guardian and friend Bo this morning. 4 years ago you came into our life and from the moment that you joined our farm we spoke of a “new sheriff in town.” you were more than we could have ever asked for. You can rest easy and watch your girls for eternity now.

The heartbreak is real but the memories and love for you more than balance the hurt.

Sheriff Bo! A Damn good dog!

So other than chicks that may hatch out, after last Thursday we do not have any other babies due. Our Momma goat gave birth to this little P-nut on Thursday, and she was TINY when she arrived. With some awesome help from Cassidy Ayers, we have been able to bring her along to be able to nurse from Momma. She is making great strides every day. She is still a little bitty thing but she definitely has a chance now. She may weigh 1.5 lbs. maybe.
