Sadly, Jax went to the rainbow bridge earlier this year. We had some wonderful visits at his beautiful home. His parents have become wonderful friends. Prayers for Nita and Clay - they loved Jax like no other. Run free dear Jax 😿😽🌈

I am watching Louise for about 2 weeks
She has been having seizures and is on Keppra to manage them.
For a not quite 3 year old Newfie this is quite scary. I hope she continues to respond well.
We just did a wonderful hilly mile in her hood.
We are both gasping but happy.

Terri's VIP Services is finishing year 8
I am insured and bonded through Petsitters Assicates and for 2024, I am adding 2 pet sitting partners to my plan.
It's been a rough year losing our pets to the Rainbow Bridge: my cat Kali, my clients bun bun Dot and a client who moved out of town said good bye to her dog Kodi.
I welcomed a new king of the hill, The Rocket
New VIPs this year... it has been the year of the bunny for me - I welcomed Jelly, Serena, Olivia, Rascal, Albus and Moonie plus 3 Hot hot buns Zen, Holly and Bunbun.
New dog Papi and he has 4 horse siblings Harley, Holly, Zinderella and Bandit and a cat named James
All in all, a good year and I am thankful.
I hope the end of year is good for 2 and 4 footed creatures.

Wow - the President's dog has been aggressive with staff several times in the last year. Ya think the White House is not the best place for a young German Shepherd without 1 main master. I hope they find the right solution for him and the staff.
I do care for people but our pets don't get to choose where we live.

I'm staying at a client's home for the weekend; one dog, 2 cats, 4 horses. The dog and 2 cats are older but the sweet orange tabby is on his last "life". We've talked about how to care for Kramer (pic to follow). He has been a loyal and sweet boy and now I just hope he will make it through the weekend. I have to help him in and out, made modifications to his litter box and I even guard his plate while he slowly eats.

June and July were very busy with bunnies and dogs. August I am scaling way down to go on a few small trips myself. September picks up again with bunnies and dogs.
I'll have a few pics up later with more of my June and July friends.
I am so grateful to have my little business.

Bunny post:
This last year 3 of my bunny VIPs have got GI stasis sending their humans into a frenzy of Vet visits, medicines, and anxiety if bunny will make it. After 7 years as a bunny sitter - this last year seemed to be the worst for this tummy problem.
If I had to put my finger on it, I would say it is the individual anxious bunny that gets the problem and not necessarily the bunny human that failed to give the best food (quality hay, greens and a small amount of kibble).
The 3 bunnies that got the GI stasis are the more high strung bunnies compared to more chill bunnies.
I've said it before, I believe adding some chill background music - I like "binaural" sounds for pets can be a nice addition to your bunny habitat. Here is a link to 1 on YouTube I like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfxDIr5e7d0

Just finished a new client meeting, a referral from a friend
I have met the kindest, most humane and interesting people through my pet sitting.
I am absolutely convinced that people who love pets are the best people.
That said, there are many who enjoy pets but cannot own them (allergic or live with someone who is)
I love my little business..😻
