His handsome face has more grey now. You can see it around his eyes on the bottom pictures.
He is so handsome.
We our very blessed to be the humans that gave him his forever home.

Today is our sweet Sophie Sues Birthday! She is 12 years old. She is still playing & running around like she is a young dog. She loves playing mostly with Lucy.
Lucy (I think) is keeping our sweet three, young acting.
Sophie is having a big celebration today with a treats, a great dinner, toys and more treats. 🐾❤️🐾🎈🐾❤️🐾

When I hear your car pull in the driveway, I jump up and search for my baby or my ball. I wait for you at the back door, tail wagging.
I don’t surrender the ball because that is not the point. The point is that I’m so happy you’re home, I am celebrating your arrival with a toy, that I will keep.
I know that no matter how thankless or crappy or stressful your day has been, you can’t help but smile at the sight of me.
I can see your face and your body soften. I think you must be awfully stiff when you’re away from me.
You and my other people will take turns burying your faces in my fur, whispering things you don’t tell the others.
My fur has absorbed a lot of tears. And laughter.
I’m meant to be with you my whole life. I only wish it were longer.
I make everything better.
God sure was smart when he made me.

I have been getting these looks around 4:00 in the afternoon since the time moved backwards.
They are wondering where their supper is and why they are waiting.

Poor babies gets breakfast and treats all day but still inpatient with getting dinner lol

I'm the one who's always waiting for you.
Your car has a special sound that I have imprinted on my senses, I can recognize it in a thousand.
Your steps have a magic bell.
Your voice is music to my ears.
If I see your joy, it makes me happy!.
Your scent is the best.
Your presence moves my senses.
Your waking up wakes me up
I contemplate you sleeping and for me you are my God, I am happy watching your sleep.
Your look is a ray of light.
Your hands upon me, hold the lightness of peace and the sublime display of infinite love.
When you leave, I feel a huge void in my heart.

Happy Gotcha Day!!
Today is the anniversary of our Shayla Lynn's adoption 🐾❤️🐾

10 years ago we got this sweet baby.
It took her awhile to adjust to ppl visiting our home because she has trust issues. She was abandoned in a ditch at 6 months old with her sibling to defend for themselves.
She had malnutrition and rickets.

Proverbs 12:10 animal rescue found her and cared for her.

Her favorite things are eating treats, chewing ice, eating frozen green beans and her dinners. She loves aggravating Buddy to play, and she loves on her sister Sophie. With Lucy she tolerates her little sister. Lucy is the baby at 5 yrs old.
She loves carrying stuffies, a ball, or bones around. Now at age 10 she showing her grey muzzle more...
She is our sweet Shay Shay 🐾❤️🐾

🎈Happy 5th Birthday to our sweet, silly girl Lucy Grace. Today is a lazy day for her inside the house on this extreme hot day.
Lots of doggy treats throughout the day and a yummy birthday dinner this evening. Plus A new squeaky stuffy for her to destroy. 🎈🐾🥳🎉🐾
