This dog is dead. He came into the shelter wrapped in caution tape. He waited hopefully for someone to pick him. But no one came. For so many dogs, no one comes.

Shelters are overflowing and it seems the post covid era has been deadly for dogs. This is not a shelter problem, it's a self indulgent society problem.

SOS! We have another emergency.

Martin was adopted from us over 5 years ago and was happily in a family with kids and his doggy BFF. But when a new baby arrived in the family, he had trouble with the resident dog and was returned to us.

Martin has not had any interest from foster or adoptive homes. We've now learned that he can no longer stay at the kennel where he's stayed since he was returned to us because they will be full. Martin has no where to go.

I will say, without hesitation, that these are the situations that break me.

He is maybe 8 years old or so, neutered, and fully vetted. Please please share him so he can find somewhere to go.
