Field trip time!

Murphy and Doja headed out on a field trip yesterday to practice all the skills they’ve been learning in the real world.

These young girls both did great on their outings, and we got to see how well their training is holding up outside of their normal day-to-day routine!

Roxy!

Roxy had her first big outing this week, to train with our friends and !

Tonight’s group training session, featuring Butter and Bruce Wayne 😂

Butter has a couple of weeks left with us before she heads home to her new family, so we’re in the proofing stages of her training! It’s important for Butter to learn to listen around all kinds of distractions, and Bruce was happy to lend a paw tonight in exchange for some minnow treats!

This sweet little one is joining us for our eight week Puppy Camp!

Sparky goes to lunch!
•
One thing Sparky’s owner is looking forward to doing with him is walking around town and hanging out at his shop, so learning to be calm while out and about is a big part of what we’re working on with Sparky, in addition to standard obedience! This guy has a great temperament for being a chill sidekick, but we still have to help him learn what the rules of hanging out are!

Super proud of this guy! Jax is heading home this weekend with a whole new set of skills to help him and his family be the best team they can be. From chasing cars and pulling on leash, to walking calmly with traffic flying by 😍 Good job Jax!
Jax update! Jax has some sensitivity to having collars and leashes being put on or taken off, so we’ve been working on desensitizing him the collar and touching around his head and neck. In addition to this, we’ve been teaching him a “dress” command to make putting collars on an easier process for both him and his family. Super happy with this guys progress so far!
The three-nagers (Lucy, Bubba, and Kevin are all young dogs with us this week, so I’ve dubbed them the “three-nagers” for the week) working on some name recognition tonight! Bubba and Lucy both go home this weekend! I’m not sure if Kevin or I will miss them more. ❤️❤️❤️
