Breeders of Parrots, Lorikeets, Cavies (Guinea Pigs), Poultry and Wiltshire Horn Sheep.

Brothers, Matt and Pete Ricci, have been breeding and keeping a massive range of animals on their property for many years now. They have a great passion for animals, Matt working as a Zoo Keeper and Peter working as Veterinarian at the Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre. They keep and breed a range of different birds, focusing on rare and exotic poultry breeds and mutations. Over the years having bred a

nd kept a massive range of Poultry, including many species of Geese, Guinea Fowl, Peafowl, many species of Pheasants, many species of Ducks and Turkeys. For several years now Peter has been breeding and exhibiting pedigree Cavies (Guinea Pigs) under the stud name Polytelis Cavy Stud and involved at a state level with the West Australia Cavy Club "Cavy West" www.cavywest.com and at a National level with the Australian National Cavy Council www.cavycouncil.org.au. Peter also started breeding and exhibiting stud Wiltshire Horn Sheep under the stud name Polytelis Wiltshire Horn Stud. These are a breed of sheep that are easy maintenance as they shed their wool and require no shearing. www.wiltshirehorn.asn.au
