Today we got to reunite a lost pet with its owner via a microchip!

The microchip wasn’t registered but that didn’t stop us from calling the manufacturer of the chip, who directed us to who inserted the chip, who searched their database for the chip number, which turned up a listed owner.

Now this isn’t how it’s supposed to go - make sure to register your chips because this was no easy feat for us and a challenge some may not accept. But the joy to find the owner- priceless.

Thanks to the finder who brought the animal in to scan for a chip! Thanks to all our amazing Ginstone staff that always stands up to a challenge!

Did you know that dogs are at a GREATER risk than humans of getting mammary tumors (breast cancer)??

Did you know that the risk is lowered to 0.5% if you have your dog spayed before her first heat cycle?

We wanted to share a story with a great ending. Jasper might be the sweetest cat we have seen at the clinic despite his horrible situation. Jasper was shot which left his left front leg shattered and non functional. Though his current owner just found him, she did all of her research and put in the time and money to help Jasper. We are happy to be apart of his story as we performed his amputation. He just came back for his suture removal and gave us ALL the love. If only we all could be like Jasper ❤️ wishing you the best life friend!

Case highlight! Today Ms. Prissy came in for a mass removal. At 18 yrs old, we knew it was a risky surgery but the only reasonable option to get this girl some relief from a large, itchy, bleeding mass. She’s a spunky girl and still recovering but we thank her owner for trusting us to give her some more quality time. Graphic before and after pictures in comments.

Breaking News!! Our sister company, Ginstone Rescue a registered 501c3 non-profit rescue, is launching! With that, we have our first fur babies up for adoption next week!

Meet our pepper litter! Reaper (Male), Chile Pepper (Female), Jalapeño (Female), and Habanero (Male) are approximately 5 week old kittens looking for their forever home. Brought to us by a Good Samaritan who saved them from a wear house where they were facing in-humane euthanasia.

Kittens will be vet checked, have age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and come with a spay and neuter voucher! Adoption fee applies.
