Available as educational tools, for scientific collection, or as a unique artistic canvas. In addition to my adventures through Hatcher Photography, I started a dermestid beetle colony in the fall of 2015 and have been enjoying the process of tending the beetles and letting them clean skulls and bones ever since. I am a licensed taxidermist in the state of Alaska. Here, you can purchase the finish
ed skulls that I have on hand. On a case-by-case basis, I accept local Alaska skulls for cleaning, whitening, and sealing. Currently not accepting skulls with horns or antlers (unless the horn sheaths are removed or the antlers are relatively small). All skulls I clean are the byproducts of the legal and sustainable harvest of wild game or free-range farm animals in Alaska. Skulls are genuine natural bone and teeth whitened with peroxide. Some skulls are left unsealed while others are sealed with a thin layer of museum-quality sealant. Check the description of each skull to determine if it's been sealed. Teeth can and will crack over time, especially in dry environments. Clear sealants can help prevent this from occurring, but there is no way to guarantee that teeth will not crack over time. Message me with any questions you may have. Thanks for stopping by!
