These are the beautiful girls. F1b mini/medium goldendoodles. Puppies should end up 25-40 lbs of pure fluff and love. We have both wavy and curly coats that should be great for people with allergies. Puppies are being exposed to household sounds in a busy family, meeting our farm animals, being introduced to crate time, starting potty training and of course being loved on every day. Temperament testing and vet checks will be done next week and families will get to choose their puppy. We still have a couple of spots on our list. DM for more info!

At 4 weeks, Winnie’s puppies are learning and growing so fast! In the last couple of days, they have started puppy mush, experienced their first playtime outside, and have been introduced to new sights and sounds. Cutest puppy pile! It always re-amazes me how fast they grow. Hard to believe they’ve almost all doubled their birthweight in just under a week! Let’s talk about puppy socialization! The first 16 weeks is a crucial time in puppy development. Their little brains are like sponges and the things they experience during this time affects the way they will see their world the rest of their life. It’s important that they have experiences that help them learn that the world is a safe place, people are kinds and other dogs are friendly. Although it’s great to have your puppy meet new people, socialization is much more than just inviting all your friends over to meet your new addition. Introducing him to new places, sounds, sights and smells can help him learn that new things are fun. You want to be sure to keep him safe from diseases like parvo since he isn’t fully immunized yet. It’s really easy to carry him into places like Home Depot, feed stores and other dog friendly stores, take him on car rides, walked around the neighborhood in a stroller or wagon. Fred had fun at Home Depot today and loved riding in the car! He’s almost finished with puppy kindergarten and is ready to find his very own 🏠 DM for more info!!

And then there were 2….. we still have these two sweet boys ready for their new 🏠. They are doing great with puppy kindergarten! Learning to sit, lay and come. They sleep in their own crate all night, are rocking the potty training and leash training and just can’t wait to find their own people to ❤️❤️❤️. Available puppy! Harry is one of the smaller boys. He is tracking to be 20-25 lbs. He is more chill than playful, but still loves to have fun! What do you feed puppies for their first food besides mama’s milk??

- We like to start with raw goats milk because it’s super gentle on their tummies and is pretty similar to mama’s milk. We are super lucky that my daughter has goats who kidded early this year so we have a super local (just out at the barn) source. Heck, the puppies even got if still warm tonight!

- In a couple of days we will add some ground up kibble to the goats milk to make puppy mush. It will be really runny at first but as they grow we will make it thicker, then soak whole kibble and finally move to dry kibble before they go to their new homes 🙂

Hard to believe they will be ready for their furever families in about 5 weeks!!

5 week old check in! Look at all the things I learned/or did!
🐶Ate goat milk soaked kibble
🐶Hit the litter box 95% of the time
🐶Had my second spa day (bath, blow dry, nails trimmed, feet and f***y shaved)
🐶Heard lots of new sounds (thunder, 4 wheeler, vacuum, blender etc)
🐶Met someone under 1 yr old and someone who just turned 80
🐶Continued the puppy 10 step handling exercises every day (watch for a post all about that)
🐶Met some goats, chickens and pigs
Whew! It’s been a busy week! Can’t wait to see what I get to do next week ❤️

What a perfect day (4th of July) to be FREE from the whelpling box. At 3 weeks, the puppies are ready to begin the first steps of potty training. Dogs innately want keep their den (in this case their bed area) clean so we make their whole area either bed or potty. As the puppies get better and better at using the potty, we will make the bed/play area bigger and bigger.
