Hello?! Is anybody there?! I'm looking for a home!! Hello?!
Everyone meet Joseph our extra goofy, extra sweet husky mix! Joseph is a little over a year old meaning technically he is still just a puppy learning the ropes, but believe me when I tell you this is such a sweet boy! Joseph loves to go outside for walks and as you can tell if it's photo time he loves getting up close and personal with the camera 😂 interested in meeting Joseph or learning more about him? Put in an application, call, or even come in to visit, we are open Tuesday-Friday 12-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 10-3pm! Come on don't keep him waiting!

Puppy play date!!!
Wanderers Rest wants to give a huge thank you to Critter Sitters CNY for allowing our final 4 pups to get out for a puppy play date at their sniff spot! The pups had an amazing time and we are so happy to have seen them get out and have a fun time running around!
These 4 are still available, if you are looking for your own fuzzy pup head on up to the shelter or even call!

4 left!! The amount of puppies dwindles everyday and we get closer and closer to finding them all their homes!
Currently we have 3 males and one female left waiting to find their own furever homes! These sweet pups come just in time for the warm weather, all eager to play, learn, and get as much love as they can from their new family! Interested? Don't wait! Come on in! Find your new furever friend!

You can't buy happiness... But you can adopt a Husky!!!
Everyone meet Alaska! Alaska is one of our newest pups here at the shelter, he came to us a little while ago as a stray who is now eager and ready to find his own furever home! This giant fluffy ball is extremely adventurous and loves to go for walks that allow him to bring out his inner wolf 🐺😂 well at least he likes to pretend he has one, the typical husky if you ask me 😂 this overgrown cotton Ball is eager to find a home that will get him out and let him embrace that wild side! Even if his wild side is just lots of sniffing and unsuccessfully chasing squirrels! Interested in meeting Alaska? Call! Put in an application! Strength, Loyalty, and endless butt scratches 😂 that's what you can expect from Champ!!
Everyone meet Champ one of our longest residents here at the shelter, and honestly we don't know how he is! This sweet boy has been a perfect gentleman the entire time! He loves getting as much attention as he can get, he likes some other dogs, and he is extremely smart! Champ came to us August 8th as a stray and has been waiting for his forever home ever since. Every dog deserves their own home but with how long he has been here we are all rooting for this boy to finally have his turn. Interested in giving Champ his home? Put in an application! Call! Who could say no to that face?! 😭❤️
We still have 5 out of the 7 puppies left at the shelter all excitedly waiting for their own furever homes! These little guys are 8 week old coonhound mixes! Each and every pup in this litter is extremely confident, and playful, they love to explore and are very curious about the world and people! So if you're looking for the perfect playful companion come on in and see them! I'm warning you though, they will steal your heart faster then you can say 'puppy love' ❤️ there are currently 4 males left and 1 female! We are open Tuesday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 10-3pm! We hope to see you soon! Help us get these fur balls their furever homes!

🐾All the snow has melted, and spring is here, and with it, it has brought the shelter the sweetest bunch of puppies!!!! 🐾
Everyone meet our newest shelter pups! These sweet 7 came to us this week and are already vaccinated and eager to find their own furever homes! There are 5 boys, and 2 girls to choose from! They are all coonhound/cattle dog mixes who absolutely love everybody! Each and everyone did great for their photoshoot showing off how confident, and playful they are! These cuties would bring a ton of love and fun into any home, and with spring being in full swing who doesn't want to add a bit of puppy love into their home? Interested? Come into the shelter today!!!! These puppies are first come first serve! So come on in, get some puppy playtime in and maybe take home your new furever friend! You won't regret it! We are open 12pm-5pm today!

Hey there!!! Our Community Room friends have something to ask! They know a lot of their friends got adopted! However they know some cat carriers were borrowed! So with that being said they are asking of you could please return the borrowed cat carriers! They need something to go home in as well!! We are very low on them!
