These dogs are really getting it. Here they are on a 3 minute down stay in the park with geese around, people moving about everywhere and other dogs as well. No one moved! Yay Jack, Noelle and Kylo. Hats off to their handlers who have done a lot of work to get to this point.

Congratulations to our AKC Canine Good Citizen recipients. These dogs have demonstrated proficiency in all of the 5 basic commands and how to use them in practical situations like when meeting another person with their dog while out on a walk. Good job everyone!

Congratulations to our most recent intermediate class who all graduated tonight and are ready to begin work on the advanced class next month on June 20. Congratulations to the graduating class of fall 2021 Beginner Obedience class. This was a very fun class and the largest class I've ever taught. Thank you to my training nannies Tanner and Morgan for helping to bring everyone along. Thank you so much to assistant Brooke Coulter for keeping all of the details straight. Watch for our new session of classes to start up in January.

Congratulations to our two graduating classes. Last night our intermediate class completed their 6 week session and all of the dogs did really well. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures!! Sorry group.

Tonight or very first Complete Dog class completed their 6 week study and all learned an awful lot. Way to go everyone!

In tonight's Complete Dog class, our focus was meet and greet, heel from a down, 3 minute sit/ stay and my tug and call exercise while on stay. Everyone did such a great job. In last night's Complete Dog class I introduced a little curve ball by asking each handler to give their dog the down command while the dog was by their side at heel. Everybody NAILED it!! Training Works friends! Today while playing in the neighbor's yard, young Hannah saw a small hole in their fence and as fast as lightening she was through it and running hard with no more fences to contain her. I called from inside the fence for her to come and she turned and came to me. I reached down over the fence, grabbed her collar and hoisted her over the fence. Good girl Hannah! Training works friends. Always remember that some day a solid recall may save your dog's life.
