Here are just SOME of the fun behaviors you can teach with our Modular Target pole, and specifically the Magnet Target.
The great thing about this target is, that itās, well, magnetic! Meaning it easily sticks to lots of surfaces without leaving a sticky residue behind like tape does.
You can easily remove the target and put it back on the surface as many times as you need to train/maintain the behavior or even leave it there forever.
You can find tutorials on how to teach the foundations for these behaviors on our page! Bow tie is optional, but it definitely helpsā¦ š¤Ŗ

Who let the cats out?!?It was Dogtor, Dogtor let the cats out! Turns out using the Modular Target Stick has made him too smart and heās using his power for evil, terriers manā¦ šTip- if you use a second magnet on the outside of a thin surface, like a window or glass door, you can create more surfaces for your target to go on. You can get your own Target stick in our shop, link in bio!*this video is for comedic purposes- all animals shown are trained for the behaviors performed. Please do not let your cats outside off-leash without training.#dogtraining #cattraining #dogsofinstagram #catsofinstagram #dogoftheday #wholetthedogsout #wholetthecatsout #targettraining #targettraining #dogactor #catactor #dogtricks #cattricks #comedyskit #dogmom #dogdad #catmom #catdad #doglover #catlover #animalactor
Modular Target Pole Tutorial- Go-Touch; Part 2
Featuring Dog Actor Dogtor and Trainer Allie!
In part 2 we are learning how to advance the Target Pole Touch behavior by teaching our dogs to go touch the target away from the pole. Once your dog has a foundation of this behavior you can turn it to many different skills. Give us a follow for part three where we show you all the ways this behavior can be advanced!
Important things to remember for this behaviorā¦
* Keeping the magnet at nose level will help your dog be successful.
* If your dog fails 3 times in a row, go back to a step where they can be successful.
* Add distance slowly. Being patient and having a strong foundation will help you in the long run.
* You can use a second magnet or piece of metal on the opposite side of a thin non-magnetic material to create more areas for training. An example might be using a fridge magnet in your pocket and the target on the outside to help with heeling.
