Anthologee Book Box has launched and is taking orders! One thing I love about my job as a designer is working with different clients and always learning something new. I created a concept for using icons to represent diversity, inclusion, compassion, imagination, science, holidays, etc., on their box, and I enjoyed researching and learning. After getting the box off to print, I worked on giving the website a facelift, too.

Happy Pride Month!

The word 'pride' is an integral cultural concept within the Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r, Intersex (LGBTQI) community, representing solidarity, collectivity, and identity as well as resistance to discrimination and violence.

We will continue to:
#1 fight for policies that advances equity and justice for all

#2 AND we will continue to do this work because none of us are free until we are all free.

Spent some time today illustrating Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s words on perseverance are why we continue the fight for equity and justice in Louisiana. There are moments when we are challenged. Racism and sexism persist in policies and it continues that people refuse to acknowledge this. We know our work is to build a better future. As our CEO and founder, Ashley Shelton said, “Supreme Court Justice Jackson’s confirmation is a welcomed reminder that the fight is hard but there are wins!”
