Forever Home Animal Rescue We have been rescuing and rehabilitating animals since 1997. have full access to wander the 40 acres at their leisure. We do not change the pet's names. Why?

We recently formed a 501c because we have started to increase our scale to support our mission and our private funding can no longer support the scale of our rescue. This rescue team relocated in July 2013 to a home on 40 fenced wooded acres in the hills 11 miles north of Placerville California

We are currently caring for a large mix of surrendered pets...cows, horses, a donkey, a tortoise, box t

urtles, dogs, cats, goats and chickens to name a few

All of our outside pets (cows, horses, etc.) All pets have secure enclosures where they are fed, can seek shelter from the weather, and sleep in the evening. We offer people who have surrendered their pets the ability to schedule visits with their pets as long as they are able to visit them. We provide veterinary care for the pet to the best of our monetary ability till it's natural death. Established as a public charity 170(b)(1)(A)(v1) effective May 22, 2017
EIN: 82-1742188 We have been rescuing animals since 1997 but only recently started to focus on rescuing animals who are being surrendered because their owners are too ill to continue to care for them. We know that stress from worry and sorrow takes away from people's ability to heal. Having to worry about where your pet(s) will go, if they will be able to stay together as a family, and if they will be safe and loved when you aren't even sure what you need to do is extremely sad and stressful. Our mission is to replace your stress with a sense of relief and give you freedom to focus on healing by providing a loving home for your pets.
