Dear family, friends, and animal lovers,

Lilly’s Kitty Shelter Yard Sale will be in July, 2023. I did not have a yard sale the last 3 years due to Covid and lockdowns, so this year is going to be AWESOME!

I know a lot of people wait for this sale every year and this is going to be the best one.

My goal this year is to raise $2,000. Every cat and kitten that I spay and neuter costs the shelter $150. That does not include any costs to care for them (food, etc.) and any medical problems could result in big medical costs. I am hoping you will come to the yard sale and help me make my goal this year.

All the proceeds from the yard sale go directly into the cost and care of each of the kittens and cats. Also, the funds from our yard sale helps us feed all the feral cats all year that we have spayed and neutered and rereleased them and they live outside with feeding stations that I set up and stock daily.

These funds also help us make up several Rubbermaid feral houses for the winter.

As you know for over the last 30 years I have been trapping and caring for abandoned and homeless cats and kittens. Last 3 years were very busy years. Last year I was able to catch and care for 12 kittens and 2 Mommy cats and several feral cats. I also help with fosters for Standish Humane Society and help them out when I have the room in the shelter.

I know lots of people love our yard sale as everything will be priced very reasonably to sell and we will have lots of great bargains and lots of treasures for everyone.

We will have 4 raffle baskets too….

For over 30 years I have been caring for abandoned, homeless and feral cats and kittens. Last year was one of my busiest years. I rescued and fostered 12 cats and kittens and a few feral cats. In addition to the cost and care of each cat and kitten in the shelter, I also have the cost of the feeding stations, which I fill daily, for feral cats, along with spaying and neutering for each before I release the feral cats back outside where I trapped them.

I am not a 501© and all food, medical care and supplies come out of my personal funds and donations and my annual yard sale. I do not have a business account and ask that any monetary donations made be check be payable to Lillian Haley and mailed to the address shown above.

I realized this was my calling in life and this journey has been so rewarding. In my years I have rescued over 800 cats and kittens. A lot is involved in rescuing a cat/kitten. They need to be tested, checked out by a Vet, get lots of attention, food, healthy, spayed/neutered, shots, micro chip and then onto finding them forever homes with a loving family. All the proceeds from my yard sales go directly into the care and costs of my rescued kittens, cats and feral cats.
