Poppy’s litter
Poppy’s amazing four little ones got a new and expanded play place. 6 weeks is for new adventures and trying new things. Their area will slowly grow as they get used to the bigger space and learn to be more consistent with the potty grate, and of course they get lots of play time in the living room too!

We welcomed Bärli’s litter of F1b Bernedoodles in the wee hours of the morning on February 23rd, 2024.
This was a very special dual sired litter between our special F1 Bernedoodle girl Bärli, and our poodle boys Swagger and Legend. With dual sired litters, the mom produces the number of eggs that can be fertilized, so breeding to multiple boys or just one doesn’t change the litter size, but it all has to do with how fast each boys product is. We have a special method when we do dual sired litters to give each boy the same chance, but it doesn’t always work out as planned. We had really wanted to have an even split with both boys as Swagger is getting ready to retire soon and Legend is just starting out, and both brought really unique and amazing attributes to the table, making it ideal for this breeding, but it doesn’t always work out that way.
It looks like for this litter, all 11 puppies ended up being Mr. Swaggers!
They are absolutely stunning and we are unbelievably excited for these babies. Bärli has the sweetest, most loving temperament and swagger is confident, easy going, and just such a dream.
We will have a few spots available on this litter, with babies anticipated to be around 50-70 lbs. Perfect standard size, snuggly, hypoallergenic Bernedoodles.
Four boys and seven sweet girls!
Photos coming soon. We are letting momma just rest and enjoy her babies. She is doing such an amazing job and they are all thriving. We have started Early Neurological Stimulation and everyone is doing great!

No, seriously. 👇✨ Don’t buy a dog without asking your breeder some serious questions before committing to them!!💕 Save this post for when you are ready to buy!1️⃣ How and where do you raise your puppies? If you want a well rounded, well raised puppy, get a puppy from a breeder that utilizes a curriculum. Puppy culture, the Bad Ass breeder program, and the super puppy method are all wonderful programs, or a combination of the three. Ask to see a video of the breeders setup, ask to see a video of the whelping box and ask if they are raised in the house or a kennel or a shed. Puppy development is so crucial and hearing the household sounds, getting held regularly, snuggles, etc can’t happen if they are out in a kennel.2️⃣ Ask about what health testing has been completed on the parent dogs. One way to know what the minimum testing should be done is to google “[breed name] parent club health testing”. If it’s a mixed breed, the testing for both breeds should likely be completed or ask why it wasn’t. For example, if I was looking for a Bernedoodle, I would google the Bernese mountain dog club of America health testing, and I would find the minimum recommended testing for that breed. If the breeder hasn’t done that, I would look for someone else!3️⃣ Where do your parent dogs live?Research has shown that dogs living in a kennel environment have higher levels of cortisol than dogs raised in the house, and that cortisol is passed through to the puppies, creating a higher stressed dog. Puppies raised in the house have lower levels of fear aggression, more self confident, and make better pets. 4️⃣ When can I pick which puppy will be mine??This is one of the most important ones. If a breeder is allowing you or even requiring you to pick a newborn puppy out, you should be worried. There are so many personality differences between puppies even in the same litter and waiting until puppies are older, after personalities have been evaluated with a
Read more here! 👇. 🛑But FIRST save for later so you don’t forget this!!! 1. Prepare 10-15 fingernail-size treats. 2. Get your puppy into a seated position by holding a treat above their nose as necessary, or by simply saying "SIT" first if they already know that cue. Be sure they are on a leash. 3. Hold a treat in your hand near the ground, move it up and down a few times to encourage your pup to paw at it - try to make a game of it. 4. When your dog lifts their paw toward your hand, quickly and enthusiastically mark "YES!" and provide a treat. 5. Practice this at least 5 times, or until your pup is reliably pawing at your hand. 6. Next you will repeat this similar behavior, but now as you mark the behavior, meet your puppy's paw with your hand and hold it briefly. 7. Practice this and gradually increase the amount of time you hold your dog's paw from 1 second at first up to a multiple seconds. 8. Next we begin to introduce the cue word for this behavior by saying "SHAKE" first & repeating the process multiple times more. 9. Now, try saying, "SHAKE" without waving your hand up and down in order to check if your dog will provide their paw to you. 10. Gradually move your hand higher each time until you are able to stand up and ask your puppy to "SHAKE". Finally, Practice "SHAKE" multiple times throughout the day for several consecutive days and weeks to really teach this trick - remember in learning new things to always praise and reward your pup with a treat for their good behavior! ✨ Follow for more tips and tricks!!!!
