Through the Environmental Advisory Committee sub-committee, Calgary's Food Working Group, Community Garden Resource Networks, Farmers, Students, Developers, Community Associations, Community Centres, and even a Mayoralty Forum on Food and Hunger, fundraisers, CLUCK and The Calgary Food Policy Council. Communities can set up their home yards for food gardens and community gardens and with some help, consulting to landscaping to greenhouse start-ups, networking, researching, speaking engagements, presentations. Students would be given the opportunity to increase learning of agriculture and to assist to have access to community gardens, to gardens for sharing , to fresh grown food available locally. Our aim is to inform and educate, produce and make available to the community the most reliable food growing services. Our purpose is to build our yards into pleasing food growing facilities which can be cultured permanently and to gain invaluable experience in a growing employment opportunity all the while addressing the need to end hunger in our community.
