A Bullmastiff Named Bella My name is Bella, and this is my story. Hi friends! I was found as a stray wandering the streets of Louisiana, emaciated, confused, and very hungry.

I was picked up by animal control and taken to the city shelter. Later I was saved by some wonderful volunteers through the American Bullmastiff Association Rescue Services.They whisked me away to a loving foster home where I had plenty to eat, other dogs to play with, a warm bed to sleep in, and lots of hugs and kisses. Soon I was adopted by a family that swore to love and protect me for the rest

of my life. I finally had my very own family and even had kids to play with! I was so happy and excited. Little did I know that this was not the happy ending to my dream come true. No, sadly, my journey had only just begun. But that is a story for another time. Today, I am safe and happy and beginning to trust again. I have been with my new foster mom for almost a year now. She created this page so together she and I could share our journey.
