Hoof Tappin' Treats Healthy equine treats that help to support the horses of California Coastal Horse Rescue.

California Coastal Horse Rescue (CCHR) of Ojai is pleased to introduce Hoof Tappin’ Treats™, the original hoof-pleasing equine snack! Made with 100% human-grade ingredients, these treats have been taste-tested by the horses of CCHR and have received rescue horse approval! A healthy and appropriate diet is a critical part of the rehabilitation and continuing care we give to our horses at CCHR. Our

years of experience in living with the horses who have found sanctuary through the Rescue have helped us to create this healthful and tasty treat. A treat that will not only make you feel good about giving it to your treasured equine companion but one which will also add a bit more sweetness and love to the important bond you share with each other! Our inaugural treat is a blending of apple and pumpkin flavors and is named in honor of one of the horses who call CCHR home. Due to an untreated shoulder injury that he sustained as a foal, when Amigo was rescued by CCHR he came in hobbling basically on three legs. His front foot was curled under and he was walking using the top of the hoof. With extensive rehabilitation at CCHR and corrective shoeing, today, Amigo is an active and energetic horse who enjoys galloping and bucking in his pasture with his horse friends.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of these healthy and tasty equine snacks will go to support the horses in our care at California Coastal Horse Rescue (CCHR). CCHR has provided Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Refuge for horses in need since 2000.
