I’ve walked Sophie since 2018!

I can’t believe it’s been this long. When I first met Sophie, I would play ball with her for 30 minutes straight. That’s what she loved to do the most. Now there’s suspiciously cute Marge around & she keeps Sophie on her toe beans 🫘

On a sunny/hot day we sit beside each other & look out in the back yard. Normally his brother Rocky is out there rolling in the grass. Both doods are cuddle bugs & goof balls.

Fun fact: I used to bring Hudson to walk with Arnold in 2017. They would chase each other in the dog park. ❤️🫶

Today marks 5 months without my soul dog, my best friend, my joy, my sunshine ☀️, the pup that glued himself to me & never let go, even when it was time to go. I know a lot of my clients have lost their soul dogs this year. Hit after hit, it feels like. I want you to know that you’re not alone. I grieve with you. I hear you even when you’re silent. This is your sign to go do something for yourself that helps you honor your time with your best friend. It’s hard. There’s a lot of tears. Just because they aren’t physically here doesn’t mean they aren’t beside you every step of the way. I often touch my hip because that’s where Zeus would rest his head & I smile because I got to experience that for many years. You’re not alone in your grief.
