Charlie - About Me
Charlie is married to John and mother to 3 children, owner of 9 Norwegian Forest cats, 2 dogs and multiple fish. I grew up around animals and they have always been a big part of my life and learning, I have experience as well as a genuine love of animals and the countryside. I started riding at 14 which began my love of horses, so on leaving school I attended Pembrokeshire College and to further my knowledge studied a BTEC Dip in Equine Studies, after College I got a job in Tesco and left home. I moved to Carmarthen in 2001 and after having our first child I decided to go back to college to do a course in Small Animal Care and in 2007 became a small Hobby Breeder of Norwegian Forest Cats under the prefix Adkelekatts, having my 1st litter in 2009.
As Pet and a Home owner I know how important it is to not only trust someone with your home, But, more importantly be able to entrust your pet(s) welfare to someone else. I offer a meet and greet where I visit you at your home so that you, I and your pet(s) can meet each other, to ensure you are totally happy with me before you accept my service. I am DBS checked, Fully Insured, have a anhicles with Dog cages/ crates so that your Dog(s) travel(s) not only legally, but safely and securely. I have also both completed a Canine 1st Aid course, attended Seminars on Canine Body Language and Reactive Dogs and intend to continue my education on Canine behaviour, psychology and training to enable me to offer the best service I can to my clients and their Dogs.
