On my way to work today, we saw a small black chihuahua type dog running in the middle of the road, so we immediately stopped to see if we could catch her. We didn't need to! As soon as I opened my car door she jumped onto my lap, as if to say "Let's go!"
As I was running late, we had no time to think, so she came with us to Tortosa. Dean took her to Petjades Tortosa (the old ARCA building) to be scanned for a chip by Ross, but unfortunately she didn't have one.
She came back to the academy where I work and met some very friendly adult students and had lots of fussing. Local people kindly shared her picture, but in the meantime we had no choice but to take her home to meet some of the dogs.

Bonnie was amazed to see a dog even smaller than herself, and Barney must've looked like a giant by comparison!

Luckily, her owner heard of the Facebook posts and contacted us. He was extremely happy to have her home after her tiring adventure and asked her if she had liked her new 'family'!

Oh, and it turns out her name is Laika, not Pooki as I'd been calling her! She still looks like a Pooki to me though!
