قال رسول الله (ص)
«أكرموا الخيل وجللوها»، «لا تقودوا الخيل بنواصيها فتذلوها»، «إن الشيطان لا يدخل دارا فيها فرس عتيق»، أي أصيل، «عليكم بإناث الخيل فإن بطونها كنز وظهورها حرز وأصحابها معانون عليها»، «من همّ أن يربط فرسا في سبيل الله بنية صادقة أعطي أجر شهيد»، «من ربط فرسا في سبيل الله كان له مثل أجر الصائم القائم والباسط يده بالصدقة ما دام ينفق على فرسه». صدق رسول الله (ص).
