At Coast, Free to Be is the mantra we live by. To us, it means the freedom to be who you are. The freedom to spend time with those you love the most, the laughter, and enjoying the moments we have today because we are not guaranteed tomorrow. The freedom to take risks, always staying humble and learning from our stumbles. We love the sand, and the salt air of our coasts for the calmness they bring, and we love our cities for their amazing culture and diversity - so our products were created to be enjoyed from city to coast.

Coast was started when a busy dog mom realized her two hands weren’t enough for her pup, keys, coffee, phone, and more. This led her to create a leash that fit her life and her need for freedom. Freedom means versatility so she could walk her beloved Briggs, an Australian Cobberdog, on a traditional leash, or snap the hook and use it as a hands-free sling. She knew Briggs liked to walk with his friends so she added the optional Shorti leash to make it a dual leash whenever needed. Freedom meant the ability to loop and snap him to pole with her leash so they could safely visit all of their favorite pet-friendly spots. She knew she wasn’t the only dog mom out there with these struggles and had to share!
